In addition, the theoretical overlap is partially because of technology transformations, practices and applications over the years. Cloud computing refers to the use of a cloud image to indicate the internet or a number of huge networked arrangements. Though, people are not concerned a great deal with what is in the cloud or what goes on there apart from that they actually rely on consistently transmitting data to as well as receiving information and data from it. Additionally, the cloud computing is at the present linked with a high level idea of the cloud. Instead of using routers, pipes and servers for transferring data and information, people use cloud services. Though, the integration of software and hardware is certainly there however there exists superior service potential to develop and implement such systems. In addition, at the back of such services a lot of data and computing resources exist, but a user of such computing service does not unavoidably care for how it is applied, what systems and technologies are employed or how it is handled. Simply there is an easy access to it as well as has a level of dependability essential to convene the working and application needs (Hartig, 2009; TechTarget, 2012). How Cloud Computing works? Cloud computing offers several advantages such as possible energy reduction and modernization of business operations. In this scenario, instead of installing a number of software applications on each computer, we only need to load one application. That system application would permit staff members to log into a web-based communication service that hosts all the applications that would be required by the user in order to perform desired job. In this scenario, the remote systems and machines are possessed by a different corporation would execute all the tasks varying from e-mail and word processing to difficult data analysis systems (Strickland, 2012; Strickland, 2012). In addition, the technology and architecture behind cloud computing guides to the group of unified storage systems, servers and control nodes that can facilitate distributed computing. Additionally, every cloud computing based arrangement normally has a client computer and front end and a back end that consists of software systems and servers, and a number of categories of control node and data storage. In this scenario, the network that puts together all the things is most significant side that could be linked with cloud computing design. As well, the components of a cloud ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

...?Cloud Computing Cloud computing is an internet based technology that makes people access different applications through internet on any computer system. Users do not need to install those applications in their computer systems rather they can access those applications through internet. Schauland (2011) states, “Surfacing in late 2007, cloud computing is used to allow services used in everyday practice to be moved onto the Internet rather than stored on a local computer”. Cloud computing helps people perform business related activities by eliminating the need of...

...?Cloud Computing Introduction Cloud computing is a process that employs the use of both software and hardware computing resources which are deliveredover such networks as the Internet as a service. The name “cloud” is derived from a symbol that is like a cloud in shape and is used as an abstraction for the complex infrastructure encapsulated in the system diagrams. “As [the] business adapts to changing government and industry regulations, evaluates new business partnerships, and anticipates competitive threats, IT needs to help the business find new ways to respond” (Hurwitz et al., 2009, p. 339), and cloud...

...? Emergent Ethical, Legal, and Professional Issues in Cloud Computing Introduction Rittinghouse and Ransome state that “cloud computing refers to a self-service internet infrastructure that is on demand that enables the user to access the resources anywhere and anytime”. Cloud computing offers new way of storing, indexing, and the sharing of information. It delivers the software and the hardware over the internet thus ensuring the delivery of information at a high speed. Consequently, cloud system posses a challenge to privacy, confidentiality, and security of information. Mork et al. (2011:13) say that “cloud...

Cloud Computing and Web 2.0 Cloud Computing and Web 2.0 Newly developed business model are integrated with Web 2.0 through semantic web, thereby outsourcing computing platforms such as hardware and software from providers of cloud computing services (Handler, Shadbolt, Hall, Berners-Lee & Weitzner, 2008). There are high expectations in the current business fraternity, due to foreseen benefits in the future, where costs will be reduced significantly, application deployment speed will be increased and maintenance will be improve through cloud computing. Businesses are focusing on ways to integrate framework operation in a way that is leveraging various benefits derived from cloud computing. Cloud computing refers to a new method of adding... ...

...? Cloud Computing Question a) As the organizations continue to embrace technology, cloud computing has become an asset prompting the move from customary technologies to cloud computing models. This is done in a bid to enhance the performance of business operation through improvement of quality of service provision. For an organization that is adopting cloud computing for the first time, I would recommend that they take the following steps into consideration. The first step should be infrastructure evaluation, which involves looking at things like data transmission and storage, legal activities, authorization, auditing and monitoring capabilities, and disaster recovery issues among others. The second step is the architecture, engineering... and...

...Cloud Computing Introduction While technological development aims to harbor prosperity for human kind, businesses are quick to relate such developments with their economic benefits. Cloud computing is a step forward in this direction. Companies, depending on IT services and applications are searching for ways to reduce their costs, but not at the expense of their business growth. New ventures and start-ups want to realize their plans within the shortest possible time. ...Introduction Companies of large size have the financial as well as functional resources to own and operate their own data centers; however, smaller companies do not have the capabilities to do the same. This has given rise to a concept where companies make use of applications and data hosted on a hardware platform owned by another organization. This concept is referred to as cloud computing. In the simplest of terms, cloud computing can be described as providing hardware, systems, software, and applications as services over the internet (Gilam, 2010). The services are dynamically scalable. A cloud can either be public cloud (it is made available to public on a pay-as-you-use manner) or a private cloud (owned and operated by an organization... ) or a...
