Legality And Morality Of Teenagers' Abortion I am of the view that abortion within teenagers or for the sake of anybody else is a negative aspect which cannot be appreciated or approved under any context whatsoever. Since abortion is basically killing of a child even before he enters this world, it is a heinous act to state the least. The teenagers who are involved within such practices are fundamentally in the wrong, and need to be told to mend their ways at the earliest. My stance has become harder with the passage of time because as I have grown old, I have realized that human life has a definite value and there just cannot be any price tag set on it. Abortion is murder of the highest order and simply cannot be seen as something that might save the teenagers who are getting involved in it. If they are trying to hide their own sins or mistakes, then it should be upon their own selves, and not the children that they are slaughtering even before they enter this world. The points that support my stance bank on the premise of understanding that human life cannot be taken away merely because some individuals are doing mistakes. Abortion is not something that the teenagers can handle alone. The role of their parents is an essential one and they should get involved, knowing well where their young ones are and what they are doing with their respective lives. It is a well-known fact that abortion is not appreciated by any segment of the society, no matter how concealed it remains. Even the doctors and the medical community have something or the other against abortion as they view it a much abhorrent activity (Marianna 85-88). Therefore my perspective remains etched on to the belief that abortion is a sinful act that shall always be taken in the same stead. The other side of the issue banks upon the details which have come about in the wake of a liberal approach. This is most often offered by teenagers themselves. They are of the view that since abortion does not kill a person who exists, it should be allowed. They view it as doing away the child even before he enters the world as an acceptable act. This is the reason why they are always been vocal in support of abortion on one pretext or the other. Their reasoning is based on the belief that abortion does not murder someone who is present in this world, yet it is just keeping away the unwanted and uninvited child, which is a right of the parents. Often times, it has been seen that this unwanted child is conceived by mothers who are unmarried, and hence to do away with the social stigma, the parents start believing in having abortion. They might feel bad about it but for them this is the only plausible and viable solution (Rossier 87-102). It would be correct to state here that the other side of the issue pays immense significance on the point which ensures that the already alive individuals in this world, i.e. the parents themselves should be accorded priority and if they decide between themselves that they do not require a child, so there is no other feasible option than going ahead with abortion. For them, it seems like a perfect solution that is readily available, which can save the day for all and sundry. Also they opine that no one else has the right to dictate to the parents what they want of their child (Segers 182-184). If the parents believe in having abortion, then this is their right which no one else can snatch from them. Since they are the ones who laid the basis for the child in the first place, the society has got no role to play within such dynamics as it is their personal matter. I will oppose the points made by the ones who believe in abortion bringing a sense of solace for them. I will suggest that they are in the wrong and need to bring sanity within their ranks at the earliest. Since abortion does not solve the problems that the people have within their lives, it should be kept at a safe distance (Wilson 142-145). This is so said because abortion leaves an indelible impression on the minds of the people who have supported it for a long time. Even the parents have a conscience sooner or later which asks of them to defend their stance from a moral and ethical background. I am of the view that people need to keep things under proper contexts before they decide whether or not abortion is inherently wrong or it could be adopted for some form of optimism that can be derived out of the related equations. I oppose the counter-points because I know for certain that the young ones and teenagers are not strong in mind and do not have an idea as to what they are getting into. Perhaps they are not wary of the fact that they are inculcating a society that shall leave no stone unturned in justifying immoral and unethical acts. If their parents are not aware of such misgivings, it is the collective wrongdoing of the society and the child who is about to enter this world should not be made to suffer (Frohock 113-117). After all, it is not the mistake of this child that he was killed just because his parents thought that he was uninvited and unwanted. It was his right to enter this world and make a living but since the parents thought otherwise, he had to suffer. Abortion therefore is a sinful act which cannot be justified under any contexts or pretexts whatsoever, and I will always detest it in a number of different ways, means and opinions. In the final conclusion, I would like to state that abortion is intrinsically a bad omen for any society of the world. It kills – an act that can never be appreciated or approved by anyone. There is immense comprehension available with regards to how abortion has to be done away with for good. I will never be able to justify if I take the opposite route. My belief is that abortion can never be justified under any situation or circumstance whatsoever. This is because abortion hurts the cause of the society and makes people feel bad about their own relevant domains. I would never buy a theory that asks of the sane people to kill a child even before it is born. This child has the right to survive, live his life and spend it in the best manner that it can (Mohr 191-196). No one can deny this child his right to exist but if the people who believe in abortion are bent upon bringing disharmony within the ranks of the society, then there are many wrongs that need to be corrected. This is the time of understanding that abortion can never be able to bring peace and tranquility within the lives of the people, and that it is an act that can only be remarked as deplorable from its outset (Tribe 61-64). The ones who believe in abortion and have exercised it within their lives should be asked to die because if they can make an effort to die, then they can well understand the irony that the entire society and the child would have to take within its stride merely due to their own illogical justification and equally insane decisions.
