From this discussion it is clear that the organization objective and mission is to alleviate the human right violation especially among the vulnerable members of the society (children and women). The Girl Effect is a nonprofit organization that works to alleviate poverty around the world. The organization targets the women and children who they perceive to be the most affected. The organization challenges the society to re-evaluate the role of women in the society. The motive behind its focus on the girl child includes rising teen pregnancy, child marriage, and the spread of the HIV/Aids.

Empowering girls could have more impact on the society than boys. The notion is the supported by a recent study that confirmed that educated women invest 15 times more income to their families than a man.This paper declares that Amnesty International has been relentless in the fight against violence against women in the Middle East countries.  In Afghanistan, there are a lot of violence and injustices perpetrated against women. The organization has sourced funding from various governments specifically the US government to support education programs for Afghan women.

The program has helped educate women about their rights and thus empowered them to demand equal treatment. Through the education program, groups of women activists have cropped up to fight for gender equality in Afghanistan. In Tajikistan, almost 50% of women have experienced emotional or physical abuse by their spouses.
