After asking several friends, they were quite surprised that some of them were directly involved in agriculture. So, they tried to call them over and make a little round table about this particular fruit. The other night three people came to their residence. Michael was wearing a suit and seemed to quite confident. Indeed, there was no wonder in this: Elijah and Irene recently found out that he had a high post in United States Department of Agriculture. Of course, this department was as fancy as Department of Defense, but Michael was strongly convinced that war is not the only this that a country should be worried about: if all the money are directed into making weapons, people are going to starve to death and there would be no one who will needed protection.

Michael never missed an opportunity to talk about his job and that evening he was ready to talk about avocado in particularly. - Sure, I know this fruit, - said he after a welcoming round of tea. – I can not say that it is very important for the agriculture of the United States, though. There are some attempts to grow it here, but we mostly import it from Mexico (“Latin America and the Caribbean in the world economy, 2004). You know, the have been growing avocado for ages and they have a perfect climate.

However, it is our job to make sure that they do not less us something that would harm people. Rest assured that everything has been all right all and it is perfectly safe to eat any avocado that one buys in this country (Rajoo, M 2014). - We also should get credit for that, - said Andrew, jokingly. He was working for Food and Drug Administration and did not have a high post as Michael did, but also considered his place of work a line of defense against food that can be harmful for the people.
