Assignment Sociology This article deals with how the lives of third-generation Americans residing in Mexico are racialized and gendered (Vasquez, 45). The process of racialization was explained by the Mexican Americans from the ability for being considered as an ‘insider’ in various revolutionary ethnic communities to the racialization process as nonwhite persons. The latter strategies are implanted forcefully through the application of negative tactics. The author finds the results from interview that reveals that women have better ethnicity than men.

That means that men are better racialized than women. Exoticization is responsible for racialization among women while men are considered as the major threat to safety. The research is quite interesting in finding out the racialization process in Mexican Americans. This article analyzes the matter in detail by considering various concepts and ideas related to the ethnicity of men and women. The results are well conducted in the light of interviews. The organization of the research paper is quite brilliant that takes the novel reader step-by-step.

The important point in this study is that this research will have far reaching consequences for the possibilities of incorporation of Inter-generation Mexican Americans. The gender hierarchies reduce the voluntary part of ethnicity among third-generation Americans from Mexico. The research paper poses some questions related to the racialization of third generation of Mexican Americans. Their gendering issues related to the ethnicity are discussed in detail. In this study, we experience cultural and structural assimilation without observing any evidence for the “attitude receptional assimilation”.
