Health According to the Association of Public Health Observatories (2006), in cooperation with the Department of Health and National Health Services, Ealing's wards is one of the least deprived in England where six are the most deprived. 59% of its population is from the White ethnic group, 25% from the Asian ethnic group and 9% from the Black ethnic group. Its GCSE achievement is higher, and teenage pregnancy is lower, with a higher level of violent crimes as compared to London's average. Support is given to many more Ealing's older people at home than the national average. Estimates also suggest that binge drinking and obesity are less common and healthy eating is more common.
