First, CDC plays a significant role in the mobilization of resources in cases of emergencies that act as a threat to public health (CDC 2014). The agency also promotes health education in the country especially on chronic and emerging diseases. Additionally, the agency helps in controlling the spread of infectious diseases (CDC 2014). There are agencies that can be combined. The union will help in the delivery of services and adequate provision of quality healthy. Two agencies can easily be brought together. The agencies include the National Institute of Health (NIH) and CDC.
