The explanations of arguments in favor of his statement are: Political Argument – Wars and conflicts between nations arise out of in different political systems. As additional numbers of the country accept liberal democracy as their main structure of government, wars among them will no longer take place.  Empirical argument – There has been a shift for the States in the beginning of the 19th century which was meant to accept a few type of liberal democracy to be its government, better explained as the government that has individual rights like the right to free speech much better to the rights of the state.  Philosophical argument –Fukuyama observes the power of thymos or human spiritedness. He argues that democracy hampers behaviors which are risky. Progressive balanced thought illustrates that the responsibility of master and slave are indecisive and self-defeating and hence not accepted by lofty spirits. Democracy Signaled the “End of History”According to the Social scientist, Francis Fukuyama democracy signaled the “end of history” due to the failure of Communism in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe and realism triumph of liberal democracy above all other outlines of political ideology (Blunden, “The End of History and the Last Man”).  ...Download file to see next pages Read More

The Role Played by Cultural Difference in International Politics

The discourse of multiculturalism is inconsistent. To its advantages belongs preservation of cultural pluralism, recognition, and protection of the diverse minority, refusal from xenophobia, chauvinism, and racial prejudices. Lacks are shown in ethnisation of social relations, the institutionalization of cultural distinctions, ignoring the liberal principle of priority of the rights of an individual.

The culture of any nation, defining its spiritual uniqueness, expressing its creative power and abilities, simultaneously is a property of all mankind. “According to official multiculturalism, no individual is forced to retain his or her culture, but all cultures are granted a universal right to celebrate and even to...

Several Issues Created by the East India Company

The eventful history of India and Pakistan gives plenty of reason to attribute to their bitter rivalry. The wars fought in 1965, 1971 and 1947 are a testament to this; so are the various bombings that each country’s intelligence agencies have planned on each other’s country (Crossette, 2008). Both countries have constantly bombarded each other over the line of control and escalation of forces at the border to mount pressure on each other has become a frequent course of action. Kashmir still remains disputed territory with no sign of resolution in the coming future. Even the control of environmental resources such as water and its use (Indus Water Treaty) has been a cause of concern and argument for each country. It is...

Contemporary Managerial Issues in Accounts and Finance

Political theorists like Veblen argued that the separation of corporate ownership from control generates a transfer of power from a minority of stockholders to a group of decisive owners who have the control over the way of access to credit and finance (Roe, 1994, p. 5).
However, contemporary analysts of corporate power contested that dominance and ownership in modern corporations have shifted to a property-less group of managers. Consequently, this current shift of power and control in large modern corporations could usher in ultimate preoccupation over profit rather than non-financial motives. Furthermore, the separation of power and ownership will lead to the destruction of the traditional legal theory of property which en...

Physiological Factors While Dealing With Health Issues

The body’s metabolism includes all the physiological processes in the body. Enzymes serve as catalysts to biochemical reactions that form a part of metabolism. The two distinct chemical phases of metabolism are anabolism and catabolism. Anabolism consists of building up carbohydrates, proteins, fats and nucleic acids from simple molecules, through the use of energy. Anabolism is responsible for processes such as growth, repair, and reproduction. On the other hand, catabolism is the process by which large complex molecules are broken down into smaller, simple molecules, with the release of energy. Metabolic processes are carried out by the cell organelles, each organelle has a distinct and crucial function. Every animal cell...

Women in American Politics: Past and Future Challenges

The official political role of women in the colonial period was not definite at all. Political rights were founded profoundly on ascribed status such as birthrights and on achieved status such as property. Religion also contributed in determining who could and could not play a part in politics. There was no steady and widespread difficulty in the participation of women in political life, yet only a small number of women voted in England and North American colonies, and hardly any women participated in politics to the degree of putting into effect political influence (ibid). In reality, the minority had any public office at all in England, and no women can be recognized as holding elective political office in the colonies.
It...

Contemporary Issues in World of Politics Climate Change Policy

It is more than a particular problem of any specific community. In fact, climate change has a wider global nature compared to other environmental issues and it affects the people of every nation and boundary. Therefore, the issue of climate change has a far wider reach than the other environmental issues and it is an issue concerned with almost all the international communities. It is identifiable that national boundaries may attempt to prevent the movement of people and goods across the boundaries of the nation. However, when it comes to pertinent environmental issues such as climate change, these issues do not stop at borders, making them – some would argue – quintessentially global phenomena. “Climate change i...

Issues Connected to Human Resources Management

Notably, management professionals would agree, HRM system is an integration of various management practices with ‘people’ at its prime focus (Jackson, Schuler & Werner, 2008); and, the common factor between business organisations and educational institutions is ‘people,’ although their goals differ. This could be one main reason for attempting to implement HRM in educational institutions, although it is customized to organisational benefit.

Halachmi’s (2002a) extensive analysis on performance measurement clearly indicates the need for performance measurement in order to achieve the goals; and, it, in turn, establishes targets aligned to organisational goals and expectations; makes evalu...

Issues of Moral Philosophy

After the stimulus of the sensation has passed, there will remain a fleeting image or “fading relics of sensation” (Oakeshott, 1981: 249); these fading relics of sensation are called images or ideas. When we become conscious of images, it is called imagination. And when we try to recollect these images it is called memory. Being such, the whole gamut of human experience is made up of his/her entire memories. The succession of images in the mind is called mental discourse and it may be haphazard or regulated. Prudence is the recollection of past memories combined with present experience, thereby allowing human persons to associate, predict or anticipate others or even events. In this sense, prudence is natural wisdom an...

HRM Issues and Diversification Strategies of Nucor Corporation

The cyclical nature of the steel industry is too demanding for numerous business owners. Nucor has undeniably come through this business cycle to sustain an affirmative profit edge in each quarter since 1966 (Boyd & Gove, 2000).

In spite of their discouraging entrance in the steel industry, Nucor Corporation has become a benchmark for both the U.S. steel industry and the U.S. industry in general. It is one of the fastest-growing and most resourceful steel producers around the globe. Regardless of the decreasing demand for steel, Nucor’s expansion has been exceptional; the company is among the top producers of steel in the U.S. Without a Research and Development department, Nucor has constantly accomplished techno...
