Conjunctive faith is in the fifth stage, which majors on midlife while universalizing faith finishes the Fowler’s stages of faith in mature years. Clarification of faith dynamics in a way to maintain a meaningful life is the core goal of James Fowler in this book. Faith has a meaning as a human phenomenon in human universal life. Written by a well-qualified author, stages of faith discuss both the growth of faith and spiritual matter. An individual growth in other non-religious areas is also a factor.

According to this book, faith is beginning at childhood, it then nurtures into measurable and definite time in a lifetime. Several questions are of discussion in this book. The support of an individual’s faith in a time of depression and personal strategy without giving morbidity or despair is a point to consider. The question of personal action to provide a respectable and average faith growth in a time of maturity is of importance. In this book, faith does not entail religious faith but also for a quest for strong faith in someone’s life.

The author states that the belief of faith should assume the verbal meaning than a noun. This faith should be in an individual image perspective, commitment and values to guide its life with perfect value and meaning. Faith has powerful image composure in life in totality. Faith has some effects in personal responses and initiatives in our daily aspirations and relationship. It enables people to perceive a backdrop of image comprehension of the true value, power and concrete life meaning. Piaget’s Kohlberg’s stage theory has proper formal terms and reasoning.

Human general features in growth and development are vivid in general knowledge and adoption. Fowler way of argument insists more on religious practice discussion. He also provides a good model for evaluation and investigation of faith development. His work acknowledges faith in the context of
