According to Gould, the abundant items tend to be only highly viewed when used as gifts. Scarcity and abundance have faced different criticism and many have tried to come up with ways to ensure that scarcity is reduced by increasing production while on the other hand abundance is utilised in the most efficient manner to reduce future cases of insufficiency.
