A. I went to the Jackson Arts Association in Jackson, Tennessee.Q. Does the show have a theme?A. No, It is somewhat random arts from different artists in Jackson, TN.Q. What kind of work does it include?A. Mostly historical events.Q. Choose a piece?A. I chose the Band of Brothers.Q. Did you like the work?A. Yes. Q. Why or why not?A. Because a group of re-enactors inspired the painting. The three bold figures in bright light had a great feeling.Q. Why is it meaningful?A. The painting evokes a bond between three men who share a common experience, war.

The three figures portray men whose heart were "touched by fire" (White). Historical re-enactors strive for realism in their portrayal of the Civil War. Soldiers come from all occupations and molded into a cohesive unit that acts as one. The main emphasis in training troops is to rely on each other. (Haydon). The final test for any band is combat.
