This laid the foundation of a democratic society where everyone had the right to voice their opinions in important matters. This also had the effect of bringing the ruling class closer to the working class and consequently, more rights began to be granted to them. In addition to this, the revolution also stirred up positive emotions among the Americans. After their role in the Revolution, women started to stand up for their rights and they began to get hired in important positions without being looked down upon. Also, even though slavery did not end with the end of the revolution, people started to recognize its menace and began to raise their voices against it (A.Gross, 2001).
The Revolution, in other words, united the hearts of the different communities living in Concord and America, who all had the same purpose of seeing their country achieve the epitome of success. American Revolution certainly influenced a major change in American thinking, which marked the beginning of America’s journey to becoming a superpower.
