The paper “Nursing and Hospital Management” is a thoughtful example of the research paper on nursing. The purpose of this descriptive quantitative study was to examine the factors that affect job satisfaction and the relationships between the dependent and independent variables. This was made possible through the studies carried out among the Omani physicians and nurses working in the Ministry of Health Hospitals in Muscat, Oman. This chapter will present the results of the study, which investigated job satisfaction levels of nurses and physicians working in the Ministry of Health Khoula and Royal Hospitals. In this chapter, the study methodology will be examined, including research questions and hypotheses, data collection procedures, and data analysis. The results will be presented by demographics, job satisfaction of nurses and physicians, and comparisons between the two variables. A concluding summary of the findings will complete this chapter.

Research Questions and Hypotheses
Six research questions were formulated for this study focusing mainly on the relationship between the job satisfaction level and the demographic factors. The dependent variable was the level of job satisfaction of the nurses and physicians working in the Ministry of Health Hospitals in Muscat, Oman. The independent variables are the demographic factors. The study was carried out using the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (Arnold et.al, 2007). It was also determined that there was no correlation between any of the factors. The research questions were as follows:

RQ1:What is the level of intrinsic job satisfaction of Omani physicians and nurses working in the Ministry of Health hospitals, Muscat, Oman?
RQ2:What is the level of extrinsic job satisfaction of Omani physicians and nurses working in Ministry of Health hospitals, Muscat, Oman?
RQ3: What is the level of general job satisfaction of Omani physicians and nurses working in Ministry of Health hospitals, Muscat, Oman?
RQ4: What is the relationship between intrinsic dimension of job satisfaction of Omani physicians and nurses and the demographic variables?
RQ5: What is the relationship between extrinsic dimension of job satisfaction of Omani physicians and nurses and the demographic variables?
