Tertiary intervention includes engaging other sectors to help to fight the health problem. The public health nurses role in delivering these interventions is to participate in the caregiving work when the patients affected by the disease seek medical assistance. The other role is to participate in public awareness campaigns and demonstrate to people how to live a healthy lifestyle. The regulatory guideline is to implement improved and enhanced heart disease prevention efforts. The actual ethical implication is to improve the health of all people through equity, in their all life stages (People & US Department of Health and Human Services, 2011).

The American Heart Association through federal funding is an actual funder of these interventions while the U.S ministry of Health and Human Services acts as a potential funder of the interventions.2.As mentioned above, the primary intervention is to prevent and treat heart disease to prevent the deaths it causes among the U.S population. The secondary intervention is to hold public prevention campaigns to create awareness to people about the disease. The tertiary intervention is to engage other sectors to help to fight the disease.

The basic elements of community health nursing practice include prevention and treatment of health problems. This relates well with the primary intervention which is to prevent and treat heart diseases. The other element is to promote healthful living. This can be achieved by empowering people through public health campaigns that relate to the secondary intervention. Rehabilitation and research is another element of community health nursing practice (Maurer & Smith, 2012). This relates to tertiary intervention as other sectors can join to rehabilitate and conduct research on the disease.

Florence Nightingale’s theory of nursing can be used as a framework for community health nursing practice. This theory is a patient-care theory. It focuses on patient’s care rather than the nursing process (Selanders, 1993). This is because the nurse has the power to manipulate the environment to fit the patient’s needs.3.In my personal leadership skills, there are strengths and weaknesses that relate to AONE Nurse Manager Leadership Partnership. In the realm of “The Science: Managing the Business”, I have strong clinical practice skills.

This means that I can effectively lead in this area as I have acquired a lot of knowledge about clinical practices and leadership. However, I am weak in financial management leadership. I would not prefer to lead in this area because I do not have a great interest in the area.In the realm of “The Leader Within: Creating the Leader in Yourself” I am strong in optimizing the leader within. I believe in myself and I know I can become a successful nurse leader or manager by nurturing or rather optimizing the strong leadership feeling in me.

However, I am not very strong in career planning. I would not be a strong leader in this area because I am always guided by my parents and friends in my career planning. In the realm “The Art: Leading the People” I have strong skills in diversity. I am a diverse person who embraces diversity. Therefore, I can strongly influence others to be diverse so as to fit in the environments they find themselves in and be able to deal with diverse people. However, I do not have strong human resource leadership skills thus would not prefer to lead in the area. 4.The most prevalent leadership style in my work environment is the transformational leadership style.

This type of style involves high-level communication from the management to other levels so as to meet the goals of the organization. The leaders motivate their employees to improve the productivity and efficiency of the organization (Avolio et al, 2008). For example, the nursing manager always holds meetings with all the nurses on all Fridays in the morning to encourage them and motivate them to work hard so that they improve the productivity of the health care. Again, the head of all health care departments meets all employees once a month to motivate them to work as a team and to encourage them in their work.
