Download file to see previous pages Using results from the Tukey HSD test, it is observed that there are several comparisons listed in the table. For instance, in the first row, we can see the comparison between group 1 and the other two groups. Following this table across, we see that the difference of means between group 1 and the other two groups is significant. However, the difference in means between group 2 and 3 is not significant (p-value = 0.999). The results are consistent with our findings based on the ANOVA test in which the p-value was significant as it is less than 0.05. The significance of the p-value (from the ANOVA test) is observed due to the significant difference of means between groups 1 and 2 and 1 and 3.
Using results based on main effects and post-hoc statistical test, in this case Tukey HSD test, we reject the null hypothesis and conclude that there is a significant difference between the three groups. In other words, there is a difference between the means of the three ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

...are presented depicting the influence of each variable on unemployment. Regression Analysis: The regression is measure of functional relationship between a dependent variable and one or more independent variable(s). Here in this study, we consider the unemployment as dependent variable and the other variables such as real GDP, Net Export, investment and consumption as independent variables individually since the unemployment depends on all the other influencing and independent variables. The data is analyzed through SPSS 16.0 package and the procedure adopted is linear regression with all the independent variables taken individually. The real values are itself considered instead of log...

...of the portfolio risk. The theory relies on the use of portfolio’s variance by comparing how assets in the portfolio vary with regard to each other (Diether, 2010). Mean-variance analysis for a diversified portfolio measures the portfolio’s efficiency. The most efficient portfolio has the highest expected return for a certain standard deviation. Mean-variance analysis application in business and finance helps in making the optimum decisions about the riskiness of a portfolio. This report seeks to demonstrate the practical applications of mean-variance analysis in portfolio theory. Principles of Diversification...

...this into consideration and split the sample to carry out a multi-group analysis. The Partial least squares path modeling (PLS-SEM) model is carried out in two-stage algorithm with the first stage consisting of five steps. In stage one an “iterative estimation of latent constructs” is carried out which includes the four steps that build upon approximation and estimation of latent construct scores and proxies for structural models (Hair, Ringle, & Sarstedt 2011). The four steps involve “Step 1: outer approximation of latent construct scores; step 2: estimation of proxies for structural model; step 3: inner approximation of latent constructs; and Step 4: estimation for proxies for coefficients.” (Hair,...
