Contents Contents 2 Introduction 3 Discussion 4 Globalization has lead to the war and conflict in East Asian Countries 4 Positive aspect of Globalization in controlling war 6 Dependency of Globalization on war 8 Conclusion 8 References 10 Introduction Globalization can be defined as the increase in the dependence of the countries which leads to the increase and development of trade and finance and the ideas that are related to the global market place. The flow of investment across the cross border and the international trade are considered as the important and main element for integration. Globalization has began after the occurrence of the world war II which is influenced and impacted by two main factors which includes the advancement in technology which has reduced the cost of communication, transportation and also computation. Globalization can be defined in two ways it has likely as well as less likely impacted or influenced the cause of war in East Asia. On one hand globalization has resulted in the occurrence of conflict, inequality, unrest in the economy ultimately resulting war. On the other hand globalization ignites or provides the weapon to face the war by protecting or safeguarding the military industries by the creation of efficient, highly developed and sophisticated weapons. The weapons as a result are utilized for safeguarding and protecting the investment that is made for the transitional corporations and also their shareholders. Globalization has lead to the increase and development in the economic interaction among the various nations and also establishing the relation and interconnection among the national insecurity, globalizing economy and also potential for conflict and war. But Globalization has remarkably increased the economic growth and development in the East Asian Economies which includes the Republic of Korea, Hong Kong China and also Singapore. Discussion Globalization has lead to the war and conflict in East Asian Countries Globalization leads to the generation of unrest, inequality and conflict in the economy. The inequality that exists in the economy has lead to the growth and increase in the emergence of the war and conflict in the economy. the elements of the global economic integration has emphasized on the fact that globalization has resulted in the economic development and peace in the third world economies and emphasizes that the corporations and the investors can generate high profit from it. The main and the root cause and the source for the war and conflict in the economy such as the competition for the various types of resources, financial instability, environmental degradation and the inequality in the economy are all generated and caused due to globalization in the economy. This can be explained with the help of the example such as the meltdown or the Asian financial crisis that occurred during the period of 1997 to 1999 which includes terrible and high human cost. The main economies of the Asia such as the South Korea, Indonesia and Thailand were being trapped in the crisis this situation occurred due to the emergence of globalization in the economy which has resulted in the financial ruin and riots in the economy. The international monetary fund then took and adopted significant step for safeguarding the foreign investors. The citizens of India have also faced the corporate decolonization which has lead to the political movement in the economy.1 Globalization is capable and is able to increase the interdependence and internationalization in the economy. The various forms of globalization are being is able to generate and develop high economic growth and development. The economic development of China and its craze for the energy resources and the market has been the potential source for the conflict of China along with the neighboring states of China. Globalization is mainly defined as the change that is qualitative in nature, the influence of the economic flows and the various impacts that is related to the transformation of state. Globalization is being able to challenge the sovereignty which will result in the economic exclusion instead of integration which is considered as the, main and the prime element for conflict and war in the economy. The impact of globalization can be observed significantly in North Korea due to the lack of access to the socialist economy and leading to the end of the cold war. The leadership of North Korea is also aware of the liberalization in the economy but on a modest and mild scale. Globalization is being able of remapping the social and economic space with the result that globalization has been able to increase the interdependency in the economy. The increase in the regionalization has resulted in the disintegration in the economy. The problems in the disintegration faced by the countries in the East Asia has evolved from Russia and also from the far east countries or provinces which has resulted in the control of the various natural resources and also the deconstruction of the economy in China due the economic liberalization . The liberalization of China has created obstacles and problems of security that is related to various nations. Globalization has the ability and the capacity for providing economic benefit and welfare to the various citizens in the economy which has resulted in the occurrence of poverty, financial crisis and economic dislocation in the economy. The combination of all this factors will result in the insecurity in the economy. Globalization has lead or resulted in the insecurity for the East Asian countries individuals and the social groups that have resulted in the social instability in the economy. The financial crisis has resulted in the security problems in the economy of the East Asian countries. Globalization has influenced the occurrence of insecurity, conflict and war in the economy. Globalization can also be defined as the de- territorialisation of the economy which is acting as a severe and important challenge in the economy. Globalization has increased the interaction among the various states that is related to the interconnection among the globalized economy leading to a situation of national insecurity and b conflict and war in the economy. The incidence of Khan networking that has originated in Pakistan is considered as an important and prime example for the exploitation of globalization that is related to weapon of mass destruction in the technologies in the economy.2 Globalization has resulted in the development of the economy. Globalization has resulted in the decrease and the reduction of the various attacks that is related to the environmental and social policies of the of the government and also reduces or decreases the corporate profits and globalization has succeeded in developing and maintaining the national laws in order to protect and safeguard the environment of the various east Asian countries. The globalization and the Trans nationalization have resulted in the decreases of the cold war in the economy due to the generation of the new global economy. Positive aspect of Globalization in controlling war Globalization can be regarded as the remarkable implication of the economy. The East Asian countries have faced severe and increasing rivalry from various countries across the world. Globalization has positively influenced the economic origin of the security. The development and the importance of the globalization can be observed from the interdependency of the countries across the world. Globalization has also provided remedy and solution for mitigation of the various wars and conflicts that are fought upon. The impact and the influence of the globalization that whether it is increasing or decreasing the war in the east Asian countries are needed to be understood by taking into consideration various aspects such as the incidence and the sense of insecurity that is prevailing across the world and its inherent capacity of the various east Asian countries for analyzing the impact and the influence of the globalization across this countries. It is to be observed and analyzed that those countries that are subjected or likely to face the international conflicts are mainly those countries where there is the presence of weak sovereignty and where the countries are not capable of controlling and maintaining the trans border flow of the various forces leading to globalization and not favorably in those countries where the extent or the limit of their international trade and finance is more. The example of such state is Afghanistan where there is presence of transnational crime, transnational terrorism and also religious extremism had found a strong base. Globalization after the World War I has regained its speed and has resulted in the advancement of technology and science and this lowering the cost of production of the goods and the price of various products. But many countries due to globalization has tried to exploit and gain the competitive advantages of the other countries and in turn realizing the economies of scale on production of such goods and services and the profit that is derived from undertaking of business among the various buyers and sellers across the countries. Globalization establishes clearly the impact and the influence of the geographic conflict and the war because its impact and the influence is strongly realized by the various countries The main aim is that the argument of the globalization can be properly and clearly understood by its relation and its impact on the war and conflict of the member countries and it can be analyzed by the changing nature of the countries rather than the interdependence of the countries and the economic flows that exist among the countries.3 Dependency of Globalization on war The most important aspect in determining whether globalization affects or influences the war can be analyzed by observing and analyzing the economic exchange for carrying out trade and development that may lead to the occurrence or generation of either conflict or cooperation among the countries and the extent or the level of the economic interdependence among the East Asian countries. Globalization has clearly and specifically affected and influenced the geography of the war and conflict the reason is that the impact and the influence are felt significantly in those countries where there is weak sovereign power. The trade or the exchange that is carried out with a single and a particular country results or leads in the conflict and war among the countries and in the same time it is found that the increasing level or the extent of the trade in the commodities in the international market will result or bring cooperation among the nations. The exchange or the trade that is carried out for all the traded goods and the trade in commodities that require strategic application is most likely to create a situation of conflict among the South Asian Countries.4 Conclusion Globalization is regarded and considered as the driving force for maintaining the global war economy and thus developing and creating the situation or the condition leading to the tremendous loss of the human life. The decrease and the decline in the environmental standards, human rights, social justice and democracy has occurred or prevailed due to globalization. The inevitable result or the outcome of the globalization may result in the situation of war and conflict in the East Asian countries that has harsh effect and implications. The industrialized countries are very much confident that the global economy will continue in delivering and providing the East Asian countries with the creation and generation of wealth from the labor and the resources. The advancement in the technology will safeguard and protect the countries and their investment and thus preventing them from the violent and severe attacks and the effects of globalization. Therefore it is required a complete reassessment of the present global economic system which will assist the economy in reaching the goal and the promotion of security and development of the economy. The global financial institutions that were established during the period of globalization did not take attempt to promote the goals and the objectives are expected to revise or modify completely the system that is based or established on the principles of peace, equity and democracy. Therefore globalization can be viewed as the factor influencing the international security and the economic origin of the various wars and conflicts that is confined to particular geographic location.
