The paper “Significance of Stress Management in the Hospitality Industry” is a fascinating example of the research paper on management. This research work deals with issues relating to the management of workplace stress with a special focus on the hospitality industry. In the present era, many organizations have not accorded importance to stress management. This has resulted in employee turnover, culminating in the absence of significant overall growth of the organization. On the other hand, several research studies have revealed that stress management paves the way towards the overall success of the organization. This work will be based on secondary sources for retrieving information, and it will be divided into five sections. The first section deals with an introduction and background to the topic. The second section deals with a literature review pertaining to this topic. The third section contains the effects of stress upon the stakeholders of the hospitality industry. In this regard, the effects of stress on, employers, employees, and guests will be scrutinized. The fourth section deals with strategic planning and the manner in which occupational stress affects the strategic planning of the organization. The fifth and final section provides conclusions that are based on the findings of this work. This work substantiates the claim that stress management programs in organizations are beneficial towards the wellbeing of the organization, despite the high costs involved.

Significance of Stress Management in the Hospitality Industry

Introduction
Stress management programs, despite being time-consuming and expensive, are indispensable for mitigating workplace absenteeism and employee turnover. This is due to the fact that they facilitate the identification of problem areas that employees could be experiencing before they have an adverse influence on workplace productivity and job performance.

Work stress tends to produce several negative organizational outcomes. One of the preferred procedures for organizations to eliminate these consequences is to implement workplace stress management programs. Hence, stress management should be taken care of by organizations.
