The paper “Effect of Organisational Leadership on the Overall Performance of British American Tobacco” is a brilliant example of a management research paper. The objective of the study was to establish the effect of leadership behaviors on the performance of an organization. The primary objective was to find out the types and concepts of leadership behaviors and then investigate the impact of such behavior on the organizational performance using BAT as the case company. Different leadership behaviors and theories were discussed in the research report.
The qualitative research method was used and encoding is done to attach a quantitative element in the research findings. The questionnaires were sent to the employees and they were given sufficient time to answer the questions. There were 40 respondents randomly selected from all the departments of the company.The findings of the research indicated that there is a strong effect of leadership behaviors on the performance of an organization. The behavior of the top management with the employees was seen as one of the primary reasons why the company is so successful.
