Backed up by well popular 4 global brands like Dove, Rexona, Sunsilk and Lux Company have penetrated all the emerging economies. These four brands has able the company to fight the competitive battle in the foreign soil. Uniliver with his all strategies are competing very well in all foreign markets. Company has intentionally flowed global strategies for all markets where it is present. Company has deliberately followed think global act global strategies around the world. In the present business scenario different companies around the world are trying to localize different products. But Uniliver is giving total focus towards the global image of the brand. This strategy is doing well in terms of performance of Uniliver is concern. Company is maintaining its global distributions very well for following the global strategies. The company has become on e of the most recognized global companies in the world it has lots of profit centre which give companies a huge competitive edge over its competitors in the market. Company has followed a different strategy of finding subsidiary companies in different emerging markets. It would give the company to sale products in low coast to those markets. In 1993 Uniliver came up with “Path to growth” strategy. The Main focus of that strategy was brand focus, operating margins, capital efficiency and global buying. That strategy was not up to the mark. That path to growth strategy was reorganised in 2005-206. It resulted in success in the time of global economic meltdown in 2006-2009 (Ian, C. 2012, pp. 90-102).

Company is giving huge importance for human health and has vision that that it would contribute hugely for human health and has a deadline of 2020. The company has given lots of importance to its social economical dimensions. Uniliver is the parent company. It has intentionally tied its knot with different partners. It is very famous as the name of Hindustan Uniliver in India. This a very intelligent and one of the most successful steps Uniliver has ever taken. This strategy of subsidizing different local famous bran has done wonder for Uniliver. According to different findings this kind of global partnership has enable the Uniliver to get a huge chunk of customers especially in Asia pacific region. With this kind of wider partnership company has able to address the different buying behaviour of local people. This strategy of the company is very fruitful for reducing the competitions. IOMA a French company has decided to enter into a strategic alliance with Unilever. This kind of alliances are fruitful for both brands as IOMA would cable to keep its global foot step and will be able to take the advantage of Uniliver’s R&D. On the other hand it would open a huge elite French market in terms of skin care products for Uniliver (Aswathappa, 2006, pp. 56-64).

This is the biggest industry in the world. The FMCG industry changes rapidly and it is an ever evolving sector in the world. Uniliver being a FMCG company has able to insulate itself from global financial meltdown. Total industry as faced the recession very well. The company is growing with the industry. The company has very well known popular brand image in the global FMCG industry. The main important aspect of this industry as well as Uniliver understands the people demand and act according to that.
After the industry analyses of Uniliver is done, then business strategy analysis of the Uniliver. Uniliver has very clear cur strategy designed for its global business. It has tried to create a global image of its products. It has able to create its local presence with the help of it different subsidiaries. Company must conduct SWOT analysis for all their strategies how their strategies are performing. In this way company can easily measure that which strategy is performing and which strategy is failing.
