Leadership is basically an art that facilitates getting things done by others. Leadership essentially comprises the quality of the person by virtue of his dynamism, experience and other attributes that makes him select the best person and the best way to successfully accomplish any assigned task within the stipulated time. The Past Isle of Traits was replaced by the Isle of Behaviors in the 1940s during the war years. In those war dominated turbulent times, the validity of the theory Myers and Briggs were no more believed and also the traits like X and Y were doubted to be frauds. Leadership is a capability to show and motivate the group of citizens to a general purpose. Leadership means that to go to the front or to show the path to achieve a pre-determined function (Nyer, 2004). Types of Leadership There are various styles of leadership. People can show the way by telling the extras what to carry out and relying exclusively on their position to serve them power over others. Employees or people can show the way by formulating others feel high - quality about their work; and they can lead by illustrating other people how to perform things. Leadership styles can consist of the following: Coercive style: This approach basically deals with the top down judgment making which alienate people as well as might make them feel disrespectful. This style should only used in the extreme situation like that of emergencies. Affiliative Style: Affiliative styles of leader strive to keep people happy. Employees generally are very much loyal to this kind of leader because worker form a tie with this type of leader. The employee and the leader like each other in addition to them acquire along and also work very well together. For a while, this leadership style might not instigate employees to work up to their prospective. Authoritative Style: This type of leadership is superior at motivating the workers to perform their job well. This type of leader assists workers realize how their works help the broader side and makes confident them to do the matters. Authoritative style of leader generally let people perform objects how they feel like as elongated as the final result is up to the standard. Democratic Style: This type of leadership style agrees with everyone to right to be heard their view about a matter and move toward the group consensus. The pitfall of this type of method is that this takes huge time and forethought to get the things proficient and if the employees are uninformed, it will be hard for leader to serve competent advice. Coaching Style: The coaching type of leadership style help to make out their worker’s weaknesses and strengths and exercise that to support work from employees. This type of style spotlights on individual enlargement of the workers in the organizations. Pacesetting Style: This type of leadership style sets a very tall standard and also all the time shoves the workers to get better with presentation and production. This type of style is inclined to make workers feel weighed down with the command. The pacesetting style is best work on when employers are very much competent and also extremely motivated and also does not necessitate much direction. (Ohio State University, n.d.). Aspect of Leadership There are so many leadership aspects that can be learned as well as practiced by the incumbents in different situations. Many of the leadership aspects distinctively have need of definite stages. The aspects of leadership are as follows: The process challenger - The leader looks for simple, more efficient and effective ways to bring about goals, to a certain extent settling for age - old path of having incredible performance. Leaders experiment and innovative to search new paths of doing obsessions. Modeling - An efficient and effective leader learns by examples. Leaders always work with the uppermost standards and also expect from others to perform the work as per the standard also. They set for the high quality attempt and also expect same from the subordinates. Inspiring - Leaders efficiently communicate their organizational objectives to the employees. As a result, people can be acquainted with what is anticipated of them. Leaders provide people with a valuable cause to perform their works by articulating how essential their job is and also how this helps organization all together. They energize and motivate workers and provide them self-assurance to perform their job. There are certain positive and negative aspects of leadership. The positive aspects of leadership are competitive, decisive, results-oriented, requiring and determined and while some of the negative aspects are stubborn, poor listeners, dominating and impatient. (University of Texas of the Permanian Basin, n.d.). Emotional Intelligence The emotional intelligence always affects the co-workers of the leader. Emotional intelligence has always helped for the purpose of minimum understanding of the inherent reward of work place. Emotional intelligence presents a capability to authentically reason with the emotions and also to use emotions to some extent thought (University of New Hampshire, n.d.). Emotional intelligence has the following aspects: Self-Awareness - The most significant aspect of emotional intelligence is the large degree of self awareness. Every person must be able to realize the sense and also how they manipulate actions and able to utilize this for their personal benefit. Managing Emotions - The next footstep of the emotional intelligence is controlling the person’s emotion which involves the value of understanding and information of a person. It is dealt differently in different kind of situation. Motivating Oneself – Leadership helps the team member to remain motivated about the job. He brings out newer schemes and policies that would bring out the best from the leader. Interpersonal Expertise / Communication – Communicating with others is a necessary segment of emotional intelligence as it is important to pass on expectations and information to the others. Criticism and listening are the essential features of the effective communication. Helping Others - The last but not the least aspect of emotional intelligence is helping others with engaging emotions and exchange of ideas with others. Woman as a Leader The story of women has been dramatically written in the stories of Great Spirit i.e. the Jesus story where it was depicted that women are used in adultery. Although, a woman or a man have had long confirmation as a good enough colleague with identical, on pretentious uppermost spot where person will over and over again become complicated to the subordinates. In the modern day, it has been established that even the woman can take the leadership responsibilities.
