?Literature review With lots of studies having been done in under almost similar themes, there still exits a vast gap between the information that has been generated through these studies and through which this study intends to provide. The corporate cultural orientation has been studied over time in order to ascertain the relevance of this theme within the context of enterpreneurshipwithin business organizations (Hisrich et al, 2005, p.1-2 of 2). It is critical for organizations to understand as well as appreciate the power or innovation from within and more so understand the factors that necessitate the culture of intrapreneurship (Turro, 2012, p.26). For instance, a study was carried out in Bangladesh to establish the factors that are favorable for the thriving of intrapreneurial spirit within the country. The study employed a sample representation of industries as well as companies through which the generalization of the findings was to be made. High innovation among the trading firms was notable within this era of globalization. Through an empirical study mode, the research found out four basic determinants of the capacity for companies to engage in intrapreneural activities: Technically skilled employees, the organization’s layout, secrecy availability as well as the market knowledge by the organization (Balasundaram and Uddin, 2009, p.35). Another research study was carried out through the evaluation and analyses of the available literature on the concepts as well as the principles that are prevalent within organizations and which in one way or the other influence the spirit of entrepreneurship. Work place values, employee personal character as well as social cultural factors are key in determining the direction taken as regards the intrapreneurialship of an organization. Among other findings of the study was that intrapreneurial spirit and success depends in much more than just mere creativity of an employee. One needs to be ready to take risk and be tolerant even as one awaits the senior management’s decision concerning an innovation. Moreover, it was the finding of this study that firms that nurture and uphold the spirit of intrapreneurship have better performance compared to their counterparts. The study recommended all firms to uphold the spirit of intrapreneurship in order to have a competing edge within the business field (AZAMI, 2013, p. 198). The findings ascertained the recommendations by another report that indeed, intrapreneurs are agents of change within organizations; managing as well as motivating them is thus critical to every organization (Wong, 2008, p.1). Maier and Zenovia undertook a study through the literature to compare and contrast entrepreneurship versus intrapreneurship within the current world. Among the different findings that sought, the two comprises vast similarities as well as differences. Their study revealed that the two are major basic tools that companies and other firms can exploit for use within the economic dynamics that we are facing today and through which, solutions to trade problems can be found. Min particular, this study found out that every company should uphold the spirit of innovation as it is only through this that future success of them are laid. They reasoned that yesterday’s innovation can never guarantee tomorrows competence hence the need to encourage the intrapreneural spirit (2011,p. 975). Through an exploratory investigation, Bosma and friends sought to analyze the global perspective of intrapreneurship. Moreover, the study sought to understand the distribution of intrapreneurs within the frame work of age and found that more innovation rests with the younger employees as compared to the elderly employees. Furthermore, the likely hood of employees to engage in intrapreneural innovations is double within the high income countries as compared to the low income countries (Bosma, Stam and Wennekers, 2010, p. 3). Globalization is seen to be a threat to some extent as innovations are simply taking over the older ones thus necessitating constant innovation for organizations in order to be ascertained of survival within this current framework (Norgaard, 2012, p.2) . Arslan and Cevher carried a study with the theme of intrapreneurship as a driver to innovation. They found out that innovational spreads over a vast coverage of products, services, management practices, production processes and many others. The study revealed that intrapreneurship is critical for the growth of an economy as it spurs innovation through which higher productivity will be realized. Through the intrapreneur spirit, productivity within the companies in exploitation of better and improved innovations would result to higher yields (nd, p. 81-82). It is therefore sure that vast evaluation of the discipline of corporate entrepreneurship has been carried out. However, much is what remains to be done especially due to the dynamics realized within corporate managements. Some studies have tested the frameworks through which entrepreneurship thrives, others have studied the effects of the same toward the company as well as towards the overall economic performance within a country and others have also evaluated the role of corporate innovation within the changing times (Anu, nd, p.150). The findings have gone a long way in ascertaining the hypothesis devised by these studies and better still confirming the propositions held before the studies. Furthermore, by the studies providing reliable commendations, other studies are carried out to further the research. Methodology The focus of the possible influences of the rate of corporate entrepreneurship to the overall productivity of a country involves evaluation of a comprehensive model that will produce interpretable results to verify the hypothesis. Other studies have employed various other methods such as the analysis of literature through which deductions are made to have the conclusions which are valid. The applicability of the various models as well as theories depends on the approach that a study takes. For instance, when the study intends to focus on measurable, the study would employ the models that will analyze the measurable. Neoclassical production models will be helpful in the analysis and interpretation of factual figures analyzed. By regressing time series data over a specific time period; say the past 10 years, the lagged models will be interpreted on the effects that the individual organizations that shall be chosen have had from their efforts to embrace entrepreneurial spirit. In evaluating the effects of corporate innovation to specific firms before generalizing to the entire economy (Rebelo, nd,p. 9), this study will collect data over a certain period concerning a company’s performance both with the regime of intrapreneurialship as compared to the time when no innovation was adopted (. In analyzing the other factors that influence the level of intraprenurship within firms, we shall consider such aspects as level of education, liberalization of innovative strategies as well as the government framework within the country (Hathway, 2009,p. 96). However, this study takes into cognition that some of these variables are hard to measure thus will be applied as damn variables within the evaluation models. These are government framework as well as internal structure of the organization. Survey tools The research will employ use of economic surveys and individual corporation periodicals over the period of the organization in context. Questionnaires may also be required while conducting interviews with the management as well as employees. Focus group interviews as well as the customized individual surveys will assist in collecting the required data. Financial data from the organizations over the time period will be adopted to capture the trends in financial output of the firms before, during as well as after the innovations procedure for comparison purposes. Primary data will be more relevant in this study though with support of some secondary data for analysis of the past because through the firsthand data, there will be a reduction in the errors to be incorporated within the entire research study. Sampling Procedure The practical methods to be used in the research are analyzing archival work and printed materials in libraries; the public libraries as well as the individual organization libraries. The study intends to use raw facts and figures alongside processed data. Primary data will involve data collected through one-on-one and focus group interviews, as well as personal accounts of events and personal surveys. Secondary sources will target the study of economic surveys, Economic journals from respective countries and financial periodicals of the firms. The sampled organizations as well as individual serve as representative samples for the larger population all over the world. Data analysis plan Income realized will be regressed against the factors that are supposed to influence the turnover such as the corporate decisions, individual attributes like education status and most important the innovation using GRETL software. In order to evaluate the contribution of various factors (each showing their significance level hence the overall significance of our model), the study employs a production function q formulated as; Q =f (k, l,m…) (1) (Tan, 2008,p.1) Where q = output of a firm and (k,l,m…) are factor inputs to production process. This study uses Cobb-Douglas Production function model to explain and identify the trend on output by employees after an intrapreneurship policy implementation. The Cobb- Douglas Production function; q= A K? L? (2) Where ?+? =1 ? = indicates the share of total output due to the innovation ? = indicates the share of other factors to the overall productivity A indicates technological advancement. Thus combining equation 1 & 2 above, overall output by a firm will be given by: Log q= log A +?logK +?logL +?logM+… (3) Where logs’ are natural logarithms meant to reduce error variances (homoscedasticity) across the observations or the predictor variables. This implies that a corporation’s total production by the employees is a weighted sum of the rate of Technology, intrapreneurship effect as well as the employee factors such as skills and motivation.. The Ordinary Least Square estimation method (OLS) will be employed to run regression using Gretl mode1 Software i.e. (Regressing total production on all variables used in this study). Expected results We expect to realize a positive relationship between the intrapreneurship effects and the firm’s productivity (Spitzeck,nd, p. 3 of 9 ). The other factors such as the skills and internal management structure within the firm give relatively low influence to the overall productivity for the firm when compared individually. However, the application of the cob Douglas function of production may not be sufficient for this study as it assumes constant returns to scale and in our situation, there are other influential factors such as the country political stability and the prevailing economic climate within the country or the organization (Tan, 2008,p.1). .
