Domain Hardware needs to install a mobile application that will help is address its service to the customers. The application will be used to scan bar codes and also provide services via mobile devices. The proposed system will be used to expand the current service offer and increase value addition of the services being offered. The new system will be used to scan information using mobile devices. The bar codes will be scanned and automatically updated to the system’s database. Services will be offered daily during working hours. Due to nature of the project, trials will be conducted in five selected stores. After successful implementation of the project, it will then be implemented in all stores in the country. This document is therefore is to be used up to the trial period. The project’s scope include carrying out customer survey, advertising the project, expansion of networking infrastructure, installation of mobile application and training of the staff. The project’s main objective is to attract more customers to the company. More people will be pulled to the company due to quick offertory of the services. The other objective is to increase value addition to its services. This will help to attract more customers and retain the existing ones. This will help the company to realise a positive growth in its income. The new system is expensive to implement. Therefore, pervasive advertisement will be carried out so that the company will attract more customers. His will help realise return-on-benefits from the project. This will minimise financial pinch of the company from the project. This document explains the scope, costs and plan of the project. It will run for 10 months from the initial stage. Testing will be done before the project is fully implemented. Introduction 1.1 Purpose of this document The intention of this document is to summarize and portray anticipated project. It will also involve the scope, market needs and the pathways the project will employ to realize the strategies and give a profit in the company. Domain Hardware deliberate objectives are to skyrocket revenue from its services by increasing value addition to its services. The intended Mobile Application is the basic technique the organization intends to use to realize this goal. This is by diversifying service delivery techniques. It has become well-liked by clients and society. It has also expanded to fifteen stores with over 300 and 170 part-time and full-time staff respectively. The major office is in Melbourne. The need for this project arose after the management realised there is need for improvement of the existing system to handle the customer services efficiently. The Board of Directors resolved to initiate a new project that would ensure this insight is achieved. The current system provides information to the consumers upon request through digital or print format. For more efficient service provision, mobile platform is proposed which will help clients scan barcodes to retrieve data about it. This system will give important information about various products to the clients and company. The system will ensure a positive profit on the company increasing the company’s income and attracting more customers. This will ensure it competes effectively with other competitors. 4.2 Outcomes and payback Chief intention of the project is to raise income of the company through improving service delivery to the customers within a period of one year. The derived intention is to increase the number of customers of the company from the current rates to a greater rate. This will ensure more gain in the market. 4.3 Links with the department’s objectives The contemporary trend of Domain Hardware is to offer a sturdy income to the shareholders in a competitive store setting by acquiring a positive growth and increasing both public awareness and market share. It intends to attain this by giving value added customer service to provide an exciting experience to the clients during the shopping at the company’s stores. The intended Domain Hardware Mobile Application project is chiefly deliberated to aid the company realize strategic goals by providing a modern technology experience for staff and customers motivating the customers to access the company’s services more frequently. 5.
