In today’s era there are numerous project management software’s ranging from basic to complex programs. The programs allow a user to manage and analyze various aspects of projects. In this project, two project management applications have been analyzed that is the Basecamp Personal application and the Mavelink. The BaseCamp is online managing software. The software operates by file sharing and uses Ruby programming language. The base camp is simple and clear and it’s mostly useful for short projects.

The application has a well identifying interface with helpful tutorials useful in times when a user is stuck. Unlike the Mavelink software, the application does not require one to be a well-trained. In my case it only took me 40 to 60 minutes to fully understand the application. When compared to Mavelink, Basecamp is faster. On design, the Basecamp is more clean and focused as it does not support tabs on the main page top. On the Question and answer segment, the support is very supportive. They were quick and efficient in answering any questions.

Mavelink application offers full functional management and project accounting. The software is ideally made for professional use. The software was complex first to understand but on working further the application was easy to understand. With ease to use and robustness the software is ease to use. The drawbacks with Mavelink software when compared to BaseCamp is it has complicated interface. Question three. Patience privacy in health organization is of high concern in today’s era when technology is adversely evolving.

The data stored in the health systems database may experience harm that cause physical damage to the hard disks and the systems. Before Health insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) was implemented, there were no prior standards of determining whether health cares should securely store patient’s information. After the implementation of the HIPAA act, health cares boosted their databases where confidentiality and portability of patient records was harnessed. If health organizations do not comply with the HIPAA, they can face a penalty of $250,000 and if the violation is repeated the culprit faces fines up to $1.5 million. An organizations first step should be Risk analysis.

Organizations should follow the HIPAA risk analysis techniques. The risk analysis should provide medical staff with deep knowledge on understanding the risks involved with integrity and confidentiality of patient information. The HIPAA act requires that health cares should “implement policies and procedures to prevent, detect, contain and correct security violations through assessment of potential risks”. (Sullivan 2000) Following the above analysis, health care should first confirm the area to be covered.

I order to mitigate the risks involved physical safe guards such as building of alarm systems as well as use of extensive monitoring screen should be widely implemented. Administrative safeguards should also be used in order to secure the authorized exchange of patient information in different hospitals. The data storage server should also be kept safe and allowing only the authorized personnel to access the system. This can be effective by use of software’s, daily virus checks and data encryption.
