This is because of its ability to undertake an operation which is done through a single incision that is minimum. This makes the surgery commonly referred to as the single port surgery. The surgery is also able to support multidisciplinary surgical team enabling them to operate simultaneously.

This is greatest advantage that this form of surgery has broad the surgery field. Being a revolution in the field of surgery having high precision, this surgical system was designed by the engineers in NASA. The instruments that the system is made of rotate within the body as it would in the case of the surgeon’s hands allows the surgeon to gain the surgical access. This because of the small size that is approximately one to inches making what would be otherwise impossible for the traditional surgeon possible.
