Network Foundation within Office- Information Technology Plan for New OfficeThis paper includes planning for new computing devices purchase for the new office design. The Plan for information technology tools that can be used within the new design of computers is as follows:Number of Computers and Kinds:It is being recommended that the total number of computers that should be purchased by the company is 25. This suggestion is based upon the new office design that will need the recommended number of computers to fulfill different workstation needs.

Three types of computers can be bought to meet the need of office use i.e. windows based computers for networking purpose, Mac computers for graphical work and LINUX computers for keeping increased number of database. The division of computers within the kinds for purchasing purpose depends upon the number of employees.Software Application Purchase:General application software can be Microsoft Office 2010 as it includes wax viewer, work processing software, presentation software, and spreadsheet software etc.

Microsoft application software comes with authorized registration that will allow different features for quick office use[Mue04].Additional Peripheral Equipment:Photocopier, fax machine, scanner, printer, attachable mouse pointing devices, keyboards, headphones, and cursor pens. Phone Technology for Connectivity:Wi-Fi connections are very important but with the advanced smart phones, office work can be accessible. Smartphones with IOS technology such as HTC phones, Nokia, and IPhone etc. can be used as backup computers to stay connected with the main office server.

Internet connectivity is also allowed by the telecom subscriptions available with the phones. Installation and Maintenance:Installation of computers, application software and antivirus can be installed and maintained by the company from where the computers will be purchased.
