The disadvantage of using the secondary sources as the sources of history is that they are less trusted because most of the information that they have has been manipulated. Q2. At the end of the nineteenth century, there were some of the environmental concerns since there was a lot of the industrial revolution that was taking place in Europe and Germany in particular. The industries emitted a lot of exhaust to the surrounding that polluted the environment heavily. The waste that was emitted resulted to various diseases and other complication to the people of Germany. Another concern that happened at the close of the ninetieth century is that there were many people who migrated to the cities leading to congestion in towns and pollution increased in urban areas. Q3. There were mechanisms of the Weimar Constitution that allowed Hitler to rise to power. These mechanisms that resulted in the increase of Hitler were the amending of the constitution that led to reducing the protections of civil rights in the constitution. The policy of eugenics brought people who were more morally upright in Germany since people who were criminals were discouraged from reproducing. There were various reasons for unrest entailing the fact that the people were concerned that the communists would take revolution further and confiscate peoples property. The people also felt that the socialists had held them back after signing the Versailles Treaty. There are varied factors that led to the failure of the Weimar Republic. Economy In early years of Weimar Republic, there were many putshes that were witnessed in Germany. The anti-communist formed a group that rebelled Germany policies. The movement was joined by the jobless people and those who were angry with the nation after it was defeated in the WW I. the rebels were led to Berlin by Wolfgang Kapp, where they were supported by the police, and some members of the army. Within a day everything was paralyzed, where the trains, buses, coal and water was no more. The Rurl Valley, which was the Germanys richest city, was affected by the strike, and the no business was no more from that point forward. The economy was adversely impacted by the workers strikes and the work boycotts. The economy of Weimar Republic collapsed, and there were no funding to support the movement. The governments were lasting for the shorter duration at the time of Weimar Republic very few lasted for a year. The votes that were casted by the citizens were distributed among the various parties, and no party had the majority vote. This situation always resulted in coalitions that were running governments, where either two sides used to agree and merge to form majority and form government. The parties that used to for coalition never agreed in many aspects, and a rift always occurred and they split after a while. These scenarios prompted new elections so as to have an attempt and have a better representation. In late 1930s, the party of Social Democrats was popular, and the Nazis were the least popular. As time went towards in 1933, the Nazi party became more famous and eclipsed the Social Democrats party. The Weimar Republic was overpowered by the Nazi party that formed the government. Versailles Treaty The Treaty was a complex agreement that had various consequences to the government and the people of Germany. Many factors combined to undermine the capability of the new republic from governing itself. The War Guilt clause that required the nation to pay the Reparations that related to the Germanys empire and the armed forces was not welcomed by the people. Since the Treaty was already signed, it started to undermine the Weimar Republic. There was an aspect of the troops were stabbed back by the Germany government. This case was an element of the denial of the part of the elite right wing that had previously governed the nation. The government handled responding to the charges and pacifies the issues of society. The Versailles Treaty compounded the problem as the aspects of Reparations were difficult. Conclusion The failure of the Weimar Republic was culminated by various factors that were prevailing in Germany during the time of its existence. These factors that led to the collapse of the Weimar Republic include the unemployment, the collapse of the economy, the great number of political parties and the signing of the Versailles Treaty.
