Present-day America considers this day in history to be erased and some take it as an example for not to repeat the same. Really it has to be like that, and should not take the incident personally. There is no doubt that the war was between British and French; (Borneman) but the victims were the Common Americans only; killing them locked inside a palisade (Melvoin) was a very cruel human act.  That was because of the disunity among the Americans, the outsiders captured and attacked innocent locals once and again and end up in a terrible massacre. Hope such will never repeat in America and the world as a whole ever.    Read More

The My Lai Massacre

...Module Due The My Lai Massacre The book My Lai: A Brief History with Documents by Olson and Roberts clearly illustrates the incident or rather the massacre that occurred in My Lai hamlet, Vietnam on the morning of 16 March 1968. The book paints the gruesome picture of how unarmed women, children and the elderly were murdered in cold blood and how this issue was carelessly handled especially in the public circles. The military is portrayed as to have made efforts to burry the truth. In the end people, departments and institutions flew blame from right, left and center with just a handful of people bearing the burden of prosecution despite it being quite clear that many more had been involved. The power...

The story of freedom does not start from Sharpeville massacre, neither it is the case that a single incident can set the wheels in motion, it is always a sequence of events which builds up and a final push causes the dominoes to fall. The Sharpeville Massacre catastrophe occurred on 21 March 1960, when a panicked South African police opened pre-emptive fire on a crowd of innocent black protesters killing 69 people, which included women and children...

Boston Massacre

... Solutions to Address Controversies of the ‘Boston Massacre of 1770’ On account of the depositions provided by Capt. Thomas Preston during the trial, the sequence of events stated appears sufficiently concrete where specific details were discussed by the captain himself as an unbiased witness among the actions of his troops, the mob created by the Boston inhabitants, and his response to the prevailing conflict. In his statements, Preston occurred to express a balanced perspective upon a factual admission that the soldiers “soon rushed through the people, and by charging their bayonets in half-circles, kept them at a little distance” while he avoided any subjective sentiment which might be necessary as the captain further testified... that...

Deerfield Massacre Response

... Lecturer The Drowsy Chaperone Response The Drowsy Chaperone is a musical comedy. The central theme in this comedy is loneliness. Asa music fanatic, the protagonist is featured in a lonely room in which he records his music and dances to the tunes. Later, he joins others in the theatre in which performance becomes more organized. I would like to point out that this is a very hilarious comedy as it incorporates the use of several aspects of drama. In the film, several elements of cinematography techniques are used. First, there is a careful use of the lighting technique. At different times of the play, light changes from bright to dark. These are appropriately done to produce the right cue. The lighting technique was appropriate... Lecturer...
