Bush being declared the winner. The movie-producers critically examine what went wrong before, during, and after the disputed election decision. It explores the topic of voter rolls, ballot design, vote recounting, and the actions of the judicial system in the United States particularly that of the Supreme Court. The movie is based on the hotly contested 2000 presidential election in Florida. The movie brings out a disturbing picture of an election marred by suspicious irregularities, electoral injustices, and sinister voter purges in a state governed by the winning candidate's brother. George W. Bush stole the presidency of the United States and got away with it.
It basically highlights those on the front lines from the African-Americans who were not allowed to vote for various reasons. The movie examines the fierce fight for the Presidency in Florida and the undermining of the democratic system in the United States of America. The film explores a series of events that had a huge effect on the outcome of the 2000 presidential election. The film evidently argues that people who shared or had any kind of relationship or shared names with convicted criminals were forbidden from casting their votes. The film further argues that minor issues such as ensuring the right names were in the voter register to prevent inconveniences were intentionally not dealt with.

Sometimes the records were clearly a reflection of intentional errors in which one name was assigned a sentence date seven years in the future; the date was assumed to be in error but not the name. The cases of mistaken identity were not discovered until citizens reached the polls, when it was too late to prove their identity and rectify the errors.
The film therefore questions the integrity of the electoral board of United States. The film tries to prove that there were links between Governor Jeb Bush, Katherine Harris, and the Republican
