The importance of good dietary habits is quite prominent in the lives of athletes or individuals directly related to sports. Athletes require utmost amount of energy and stamina during both competition and training sessions. They must maintain their fitness on a regular basis so that they can give their 100% effort during matches and sport events (Brazier 1-13). The importance of diets for sport persons and athletes can be understood by the fact that it is directly associated with performance of athletes. It is believed that the proper nutrient in the diets of athletes further enhances the level of effectiveness of their performance, which certainly augments the overall outcome in terms of quality (Fuhrman 1-22). It is evident that athletes who maintain a healthy lifestyle for them along with proper and timely physical exercise will be able to ensure a healthy and fit body in the long run and perform better.
