Chronically ill and disabled people In the world we live in, some of the things we go through are hard to fathom if one critically thinks about them. The daily activities that some people are used to are quite difficult to indulge in from a normal perspective, and some have to be either high on drugs or particularly evil for them to commit some crimes. One good example is my friend john. His life seems so hyped because of the things he always talks about when we are together. He offers his advices and it is hard to take them because they have clearly not worked for him so far. He always looks shabby despite being dressed in some of the best designer clothes. He always seems to hear voices in his head telling him how intelligent he is and that makes it always his duty to offer advice regardless of what one thinks of him. True to say, some of the advices he offers are quite impactful if followed, but some are just dumb. However, that is not the problem. In most cases, he is quiet and accommodative, provided no one irks him or questions his source of money. Many say he is a drug peddler and it is always difficult to ascertain that because no one has ever caught him red-handed selling or imbibing some into his system. One day, the news of his arrest filled the air. We were all shocked that the John we knew was a criminal and was now behind bars. It was hard to believe because every time he would tell us how crime was evil and the very many young people lost due to criminal involvement. Here he was behind bars because he was caught with illegal drugs. It is difficult to understand how such an individual who seemed to have the right words for every situation was now the one accused of peddling drugs in the local community. In most instances, the police claim that he was the main depot from where most of the drugs would emanate and spread over to the community. He was the link to many of the people who were using drugs in the community. He was the one nurturing criminals and allowing them to roam the streets as they sought new clients for his products. He was always cool at school though he had to answer so many calls after classes. He would always excuse himself and we all thought it was good phone etiquette and did not read much into this. However, these flashbacks slowly became vivid as the police explained everything to us. All these calls were for the suppliers seeking some drugs or to delivery boys who were late to deliver the drugs. The police had trailed him for a while, though they could not capture him because of the lacking evidence. They wanted to capture him in the act and have as much evidence as possible to convict him. On one of the delivery days, they received a tipoff from one of their undercover agents of a sale that would take place at a common market where no one would even think that drugs would find their way. This was a food market where different people came and went without having to worry about the next person’s wares. They took advantage of this and would go and exchange their goods at a particular hotel where they were least suspected. Further, they would wear respectably, hence brushing off any suspicion. They also had their tippers who would warn them in case of any danger, and most of the time, the police always arrived a minute too late. The police organized themselves and even sent field agents who were not popular in the community. The aim was to catch these peddlers red-handed and arrest them. Used to their normal routine, the peddlers, led by John and one of his closest confidants, arrived at the expected time to meet with their clients. They were to offload a big cache of drugs that would be transported to various parts of the city through some off-road routes that were less manned by the police. Unknown to them, the police had already marked their trails and were already aware of the evil they were propagating in the society. They were responsible for the loss of lives occasioned by the use of drugs in the community. Very many people were slowly losing their minds and being rehabilitated in the society due to drug problems. They were propagating social ills that would see hundreds of people lose their lives and engage in criminal activities just to satisfy their drug problems. Since they did not realize they were being watched, they went on with their business oblivious of the strangers in their vicinity. As the exchange was about to take place, police swung into action and seized them in the action. They arrest all those present in the exchange and John was amongst them. The police told us that John was one of the masterminds of the drug peddling business in the community, and despite his young age, he had defied all odds to be a kingpin in his own right. He ran a huge supply system that included thousands of suppliers from different places and tones of supplies made every week. He was able to use different people to peddle his drugs and take them to certain areas notorious for drug use. He had managed to conceal his tracks until the police got wind of his involvement. They trailed him and made it their duty to keep in touch with his every move. Because they knew there could be a compromised officer in their office, the head of police in the community built a new team comprising of new agents and experienced officers he could trust. They trailed him ad mapped his travels for a period of two months. They were now ready to open charges for him and ensure justice was served. His arrest was the beginning of the disruption of drug trade in the community and the police vowed to ensure justice was served for all those involved in the crimes in one way or the other. Why I chose evil as a theme So many times in the society, people pass for different characters, and those who one thinks are the best turn out to be the worst. The characters that people display sometimes hide the deepest feelings and fears within them. Some of your friends can look at you as a naïve person just because you do not think like them. People who were not as classy as they are always get backstabbed. The reason for choosing evil is because I have enough experience on such friends. At one minute they are happy and the next they are backstabbing you. Being considered as a naïve person who could not accomplish anything is wrong. It is just a way of getting back at people they considered out of their league. The friends that people have can be of great importance in life or destroy an individual. I have been working in getting a good deal in life by being good. Friends are meant to assist in different ways because they provide the moral support required. Backstabbing friends can make your life difficult. They come and friend you then they leave and talk ill about you with others. In everything that one does, we only open up about our important issues to those we trust. However, some break the trust by telling others about you. They move from one place to the other telling about you while pretending they care about you. The society is evil because of a few elements. Though backstabbing friends are always looking for the negative in me, it is important to look for the best in everyone. Friends are supposed to be there for moral support at all times. As seen from the story, it is important to understand that people are different. Those we look up to do not want to be with us because they have different feelings about us. They want to take advantage of our situation and position in life just to satisfy themselves. Friends who only come when you are happy and leave when you have problems are many in the world. They surround us yet, it is difficult to understand whether it is those we trust the most to tell them about our secrets. They use everything against use yet they come in the name of friendship. Backstabbing friends can be termed as evil. They are like poisonous snakes waiting to strike when we least expect. They can make things difficult for an individual because they use some of your innermost secrets to attack you and hurt you where it hurts the most. This is evilness because they do what is wrong as though it was something worth applauding. Selling drugs could be one way, but most of them take advantage of your innocence to destroy any relations you have with others. It could be amongst your classmates or even your family. The only way of dealing with such people is to understand what they need and be careful not to fall into their trap.
