The study also reveals that PA is an effective way of reducing body fat and increasing lean tissue mass (Zanovec, et al, 2009). These findings are the same regardless of weight, height, race, and body mass index. This article further strengthens the theory that physical activity may prevent obesity. It is also an eye opener for health professionals because most often than not they use the BMI to determine the state of health of individuals.
