The United States is highly characterized with numerous groups that differ greatly ranging from race to income. These groups receive varied treatments when it comes to health issues. It is both unethical and unacceptable to discriminate an individual in the health field depending on the one’s race, economic status, or whatever (Orsi, Margellos-Anast, & Whitman, 2010). All individuals deserve equal treatment in all aspects of life by the virtue of being rightful citizens of a particular country (Braveman, et al., 2010). If certain individuals are paid less attention in the health sector, it makes them vulnerable and can even cost them lives.

The purpose statement of this research will focus on finding some of the common causes of disparities in the critical field of healthcare. In addition, the research will investigate the extent, scope, and the effects of this disparity for the past few decades. Finally, the research will identify and propose the most viable solutions and remedies to the standing problems (Orsi, Margellos-Anast, & Whitman, 2010). However, change has to start from within the individuals themselves; they have to realize that they are all equal.

Then the leaders should reinforce this by formulating promising policies as well as by being role models. Baran (2010) emphasize that research questions to be addressed in any particular research have to be researchable and focused on the research topic. In this research, the questions are as follows: Why are there high infant mortality rates among black infants as compared to other races? Why do men suffer the most deaths during motor vehicle accidents and not women? How is the health care allocated to citizens of different incomes?

Who is the most affected by the industrial environmental pollution in urban areas? Why are African American men and women more likely to suffer deaths related to the heart diseases? How are healths facilities located throughout the nation and are these facilities easily accessible to all? Who are affected by deaths related to drugs and why is it so? What are the requirements for health insurance policies and how are they issued? The research will involve specific parts of the nation by selecting a population sample that fulfills the desired characteristics.

The testing process of the research questions will be based on diversity and social ethics that prevail within the environment of study (Creswell, 2003). For instance, some of the traits that the sample should have include multi-racial, people of varied social status from different states, and people of different age groups and wealth. Qualitative design will be the most appropriate research method to employ in ensuring effective study of the characteristics. The choice of employing the qualitative research methods is because it gives clear and explicit descriptive information.

Baran (2010) asserts that descriptive information is presented from a pictorial point of view, so it is easy to analyze. Justification of the viability of the questions shall specifically focus on the main areas that cause the ideological and practical differences in the healthcare sector. The analysis process of the data may involve the use of qualitative and interpretational methods. This research will employ a narrative research strategy, as it is able to capture even small details in the narration process.

Kraleva (2011) explains that visiting previous studies done in the field will be equally important since it will help you in presenting a concrete
