The field of radiography encompasses numerous novel technologies that keep on emerging with time. In this case, Crewson & Applegate (2001) indicate that it is vital that this field takes part in research so as to be at par with the up-and-coming technologies. Through research, the radiology department will be in a better position to manipulate the new technologies to their advantage. There is a great likelihood that through research, working in the field will be made much easier, as the radiologists are much more exposed to methods of carrying out their duties in an easier way. In the field of medicine, it is vital that constant research is conducted so as to be at par with the current system. Radiography, being part of the field of medicine, must always include research by collaborating with other stakeholders to increase the involvement of other concerned sectors to improve the field. Research in radiography has been more directed to qualitative research since hypotheses formulated are scrutinized in a manner that the experiment conducted results in tangible evidence. In a situation where radiographers develop questions which later develop to practical investigations, it has been indicated as the first step towards coming up with the best solutions towards issues that may arise in the department. From a practical point of view, research in radiography has enabled radiographers come up accurate images that can be useful for metrical and morphological investigations. This type of research is referred to as osteological research. In fact, analysts indicate that this field requires a lot of research so as to have adequate measures to weigh accuracy of research by radiographers. From a layman’s point of view, research is useful for progress in any institution. This statement holds much importance in the field of radiography. High quality research is inclusive of accuracy, commitment in collecting information that pertains to facts in radiography (Applegate & Sunshine, 2004). An Overcorrection of Mary Magdalenes Biblical Role

A purely theological approach to DVC would be impossible since the claims the book makes takes issue with what has been supposedly left out of the bible. This essay will in no way attempt to question whether any non-canonical gospels should be considered; that sort of investigation should be left to historians.

As Brandon Gilvin states in Solving the Da Vinci Code Mystery, “It’s difficult to start a discussion on the creation of the bible from the Bible itself” (7). As the word of God is being questioned, it does us no good to turn to the Gnostic Gospels, the main sources of the claims of Mary Magdalene’s and Jesus’ marriage. In these texts, Mary Magdalene is the most mentioned person after...

Mark Pastin in his book, ‘The Hard Problems of Management: Gaining the Ethics Edge’, has attempted to summarize this by providing four principles that are necessary in order for an organization to be ethical. The organization must interact with all stakeholders with...

Developing a Research Base for Intravenous Peripheral Cannula Resites

...Context of the Paper To begin with, the of the paper is very much apt for the content. Although the could have come up with a more direct title, the title “Developing a Research base for Intravenous Peripheral cannula re-sites. A randomized controlled trial” captures the essence of the paper and what the authors aim to address. They, however, could have made it more direct to the point by maybe saying that the study is about a comparison between 3 day cannula re-sites and cannula re-sites as dictated by clinical condition. Nonetheless, the chosen t title is suitable enough to briefly inform the reader of the topic of the research. Two hypotheses were tested in this paper. There are two groups that were compared in the paper...

An Evaluation of the Role That the Principles of Behaviour Therapy Have to Play in Clinical Hypnosis

Hamburg (2006) first used this combined effort to treat two patients who were scared of dying. He uses his paper to encourage clinicians to refrain from not using their knowledge at the introductory classes of hypnosis but to go into it deeper. Many therapists at that time were taking the bold step of combining behavior therapy with hypnosis (Chaves, 2006). One group used hypnosis for desensitization therapy (Kirsch et al, 1995). However, there was general disagreement about the manner of hypnosis being employed and the methods of mentalist constructs. Chaves who strongly believed in the treatment combination used it as a base for many of his therapeutic interventions (Chaves, 1997a as cited in Chaves, 2006). The hypnotic therapy...
