The Role of Disorder in the Life of QueersThe question of queerness is being considered by modern specialists in various aspects. Several researchers have analyzed this phenomenon in its relation with the concepts of disorder and mess that characterize the life of individuals. In his article, Manalansan pays special attention to the life of queer immigrants (undocumented homosexuals, transgenders, etc.). The author focuses on the question of the existence of disorder in the lives of these immigrants.

As a result of his research, Manalansan concludes that in many cases the mess is a legitimate feature of many queer immigrants’ life. In particular, this situation stems from the fact that their life is related to the permanent relocation. Undocumented queer immigrants live in constant fear and uncertainty and the mess in this regard is a consequence of such a life. The value of this paper is that it tries to explain the presence of the disorder in the life of queer immigrants, by analyzing their perception of reality.

The author offers a reasonable explanation for this phenomenon and makes independent conclusions free from common stereotypes and clichés. In turn, the second article considers the issue of old rubbish that is being observed in the life of old people. According to the author, it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of life of many old people that lead to the fact that the old stuff that is seen as having particular importance. The main message of this work is that the author makes us think that even the old stuff can be important for the person.

Society should take into account a number of factors that can lead to this situation. Unambiguous assessment of this phenomenon as a result of mental disorder or personal carelessness is not always justified.
