? Number] Impact of feminism on men sexual health Introduction Maintaining a sound soul and body is the focus of human beings. The debate of feminism has taken the society to a next level. The movements of feminism have ultimately reached high goals and have declared women victorious but it doesn’t mean that violation of men’s right should be done by the women. Men also rose up in support of feminism since its inception, different movements of men started in this regard. Afterwards it was seen that women were not satisfying men’s sexual wants. From men’s point of view, these are the aftershocks of feministic movement. The legacy of feminism laid a very positive impact on the lives of women around the globe. Awareness campaign started in all the major countries and most of its impact was observed in developed countries such as Canada, Australia, USA, UK etc. However men were not given proper time by the so called feminist women. In the name of moderation, women were not able to sexually satisfy men. Thus the sexual health of men went down by the passage of time and they were not able to satisfy their wants after hectic day at work. A large community of men faced this problem. This was a big dilemma for all the men living in developed countries. Eventually this gave rise to antifeminist and men rights protection movements. These movements never got an overwhelming reception but still the issue was highlighted on different forums. Critique & Arguments A strong set of arguments can be found at both ends. (Roosh) is of the view point that feminism has made women out of their minds. They are trying to enjoy every fruit of life just because their rights were violated previously. The justification made by these women is unacceptable and illogical. They want to grab all the societal benefits and bring the best out of everything. The viewpoint which is prevailing throughout the majority of women is that they have succeeded in their goals and now it’s the time to enjoy. Even today if a woman is unable to get good grades or a good job then she eventually blames the society, especially men. They think that men are the barriers between their success, in fact problem lies within themselves. Sex as an advantage is used by most of the women. Their monetary and materialistic desires need to be fulfilled first, than they would be available to have sex. Sex is used as a proper bargaining tool making men life miserable. If men are not getting their sexual demands than eventually they will go for other options. Family lives are totally ruined, children are spoiled due to no interest of women at home. Gone are the days when women stayed back home so that their children would get attention. Women these day’s have a simple focus, to beat men in every area. Killing of babies is a common practice; abortion is considered an ordinary thing by women (Melissa). The statistical figures are quite astonishing as men have really believed that they have lost their role in the society. Men consider themselves as a second class citizen now. The race of who gets paid more is now is in. The role which apparently men had in the 20th century cannot be seen anymore due to women rapid dominance in the world. This century has given women empowerment at extreme. Historically men had the role as a provider of the house, the ultimate thing but now tables have turned over. There are no more cherishing talks on the dining table and no more men dominance. Figures show that 82% men are sure that their role in the society which previously had is totally demolished. 52% men are certain that women rule will be sooner there in the world (Boycott). (Dhaliwal) states that eminent role of men has been clean swept and male are under the direct influence of women. He quoted one of the incident in which a woman with a diamond ring and having a successful career was with a nerdy looking guy which was for sure not that successful. The depiction of both the entities gave a clear indication that man was under the feet of woman. The overwhelming success of women has made men slaves and they are totally under the direct influence of them. These open minded women also don’t satisfy men sexually, as their set of believe states not to have a proper physical relation. This has taken men to a very eccentric position as wants and desires are naturally there in every man. Feministic approach has also demolished dressing sense among women. A feeling that everything looks perfect on us is now found common in every woman. Proper dressing is no longer seen in them. The desire to dress up has also decreased. Another viewpoint which is also observed quite often is that strange dressing would depict intellectual and strong women brain. No matter what the argument is going on, feminism propagates women to speak on every topic even if they don’t know anything about it (Roosh). Hyper independence is a matter of common observation among women. An insight of women that they do not need men for any purpose, they are free and independent to do whatever they want to. Feminism has also led their partners aside and their focus is just on themselves. Relationships are spoiled due to this sort of attitude as side lining men is just like making walls in a relationship. Women also think that feminism has given them the right to do anything they want. If they don’t get their desired wants than just simply put it on men that they are anti feminism and exploit women etc. (Melissa). Psychoanalysts Reviews Various psychoanalysts have critically examined all the feminist events which took place in the history and in recent years. Their viewpoint regarding the feminist impact on men sexual health is quite appealing as they have taken care of all the major incidents which were there in the feminist rise movement. According to certain psychoanalysts, satisfaction of men has been however putted aside due to men’s ancestral behaviour with women. These days’ women are now trying to grill men by not satisfying their sexual wants which is totally unfair as these acts are a bridge towards destruction of the society. Men will eventually move towards brothels and a new generation from brothels would be brought in the world which is not acceptable in any society. (Bondi and Burman, 13) have identified the key reasons behind men and women mental health. The case prevails as most of the women who were a part of feminist movement or are a still a part of this movement are either lesbian, have no interest in men or have lost sexuality. Men who come in to support feminist movement are also either gay or have no sexual power left. This leads to a very serious debate that either the feminist movement was either started by these individuals which are totally wrong. These kind of people were definitely in the movement but were not merely dominant. The mental health of women is also disturbed if sexual intercourse is not taken in a particular time. Feminist women are also facing mental health problems and their lives are not set. Married feminists however have the opportunity to have intercourse but they avoid as they believe it is surrendering towards their respective men. A very negative impact thus is seen. The theme should be to get the best out of feminism instead of making life miserable. Sexual intercourse between opposite gender has been reduced after the invasion of feminism in the society. Maintaining sexual relationships with same gender is rising. Some things are not even the control of human beings and we should gently accept this reality, so is the mental and physical health which is attained after having sexual intercourse with opposite gender. Same gender is never able to get the real fruit from the basket, instead they get a ripped off apple. Similarly lesbian and gay relationships don’t give proper physical health to the body. The reactions and aftershocks of these kinds of activities get involved into various mental problems for which cure are very difficult (Pollis, 94). Health problems of any kind can occur at any stage in life. For the cure of disease people go for a doctor whom they believe is most experienced and will heal the wounds. Going for other doctors happens when their previous doctor doesn’t give you time or is away. Similarly men and women need to satisfy sexual needs. Gap of more than a week is not were pleasant for adults sexual health. If a feminist woman would not let his men does his sexual job than both of them will be in real trouble and the blame will directly go to woman? It is matter of common observation that feminist women consider themselves the most moderate, liberal and secular and hence they consider intercourse a very conservative exercise. If they have sex, they are not able to make it fruitful due to their fake engraved decency. This takes men into tight spot and they go for other substitutes than (Scott, 89) Men Rights A topic of highlight these days is men’s right. In the current studies it has been evolved that men are not very sound these days in both aspects, physically and mentally. Their attitude in offices is not very appealing, laziness, various diseases, tiredness is mostly found in men. The grounds behind these problems were unsatisfied sexual behavior. Married men mostly fell in this category and men having working wives were 80% victims of this problem. After the analysis it was definite that due to no proper sexual response from their partner such diseases started which is a very pessimistic side. The conditions found were also not very satisfactory, women had the argument that they cannot have both the things at the same time and working women also prefer to either live alone or have a lesbian relationship. The trend of gay marriages is also increasing. These marriages don’t have convincing life as the requirements of both ends are not fulfilled. (Richardson, 105) Violation of men rights has been a common practice at both work and at home. At home no sexual satisfaction given, as women now consider men as garbage. Also they treat men like a street dog who opens his mouth every time just to have sex. Verbal abuse by woman is often seen. Effective communication has been totally destroyed. Women yell at men like hell and disrespect them a lot. Feminism according to their definition has given them the chance to do whatever they want to do in this world without any restrictions. Attracting sex partner is no more the name of the game. Feminist women consider this an awful act Insulting men has been their primary and ultimate target (Melissa). Conclusion World is changing every day and feminism has a huge impact now. The real message behind the feminist movement has been forgotten and new manifestation and definition come up every day from all women. Men have been treated badly in this whole case and they have been de graded immensely. Many men have lost self confidence and self respect. Empowering women is a good thing but powers should have limits, which would not make a woman stubborn and inflexible. Men health has been declining due to the feministic movement aftershocks. Sexual satisfaction is the right of every men and women, so in order to make circle of nature strong and powerful, one must obey it properly and have sexual intercourse at least once a month, which assures stable physical and mental health. Feministic women are also making themselves sick if they don’t have sexual intercourse. Enlightenment of feminism never stops to have sexual intercourse; it addresses women’s rights in particular. The acts prevailed by the women these days are devilish and they will have to face consequences in the long run. Work Cited Bondi, Liz, and Erica Burman. "Women and mental health: a feminist review."
