My academic performance during the degree of Bachelors has been encouraging as I have a CGPA of 3.86; I hold the 12th rank in a batch of 125 students in my current academic program. Such heartening performance has given me the confidence that I can provide effective results in the field of finance. Academic knowledge tends to benefit one at greater levels if it coupled with professional implementation of the concepts. Bearing such notions in mind, I have aimed to remain involved in the professional financial field by doing internships and part-time jobs in the finance departments of different organizations.

Such professional experience not only provided knowledge about the practical implementation of financial processes but also proved to give a direction in which academic knowledge should be attained. My eagerness to learn and keenness to research the latest developments in the world of finance and other fields has earned me several awards and recognition in the past few years. My research study “HotMoney Problems in China” was chosen as the innovative experimental project in my school in September 2011.

I wrote a research paper with the title “Investment Analysis of Gold Options” that was published in the National Journal of Enterprise Study in August 2011. Alongside such recognition, I received an “Award of Excellence” for Mathematical Modeling of Network Challenge. I consider myself to be ambitious in nature and aspire to utilize my Master's degree to achieve high levels of success in the field of finance at a professional level. After attaining my Master's degree, I shall seek a reputable job in the PE industry and start gaining knowledge about the basic financial tools and processes.

My extensive participation in extra-curricular activities in my academic life has given me to confidence to manage people and situations effectively, therefore, I wish to possess the same leading stature in my professional life after gaining sufficient experience and comprehension about the world of finance. As far as my long term plans are concerned, I aim to acquire an MBA degree from a globally renowned management school to get familiar with the latest management concepts and theories at an even deeper level.

This endeavor will facilitate the formation of a more structured management foundation on a personal level. Alongside the theoretical knowledge of management concepts, it is vital to bear effective negotiation skills, appreciation of cultural differences and familiarity with techniques to keep the team members motivated and enthusiastic about their work; such skills shall also be aimed to be improved with the passage of time to get successful in the industry. After the successful completion of the MBA program, I shall aim to reenter the PE industry and seek to join a reputable organization as a project manager.
