It indirectly reinforces the concept of empowerment and development of leadership paradigms for improved productive outcome. Indeed, Covey has essentially analyzed the fundamental nature of man to evolve new approach to living a more fulfilled life. He conceives a life where success is measured in terms of building successful relationship and not on rising financial stakes. The seven assimilative habits that significantly impact quality of life are: to be proactive; to develop goals in various stages of life; to prioritize work paradigms and goals; encourage win-win situation; effective communication and power to understand and respect the viewpoint of others; promote collective goals and synergistic work culture; and strive for continuous learning for improved physical, mental, spiritual and social network growth.
Covey’s has emphasized the qualities of human being that stimulate personal and professional competencies. At the same time, they also exploit our hidden leadership traits to improve quality of life across social structure divided by race, color, culture and nationality.
