Stars are still a puzzle for us. We don’t have much idea about the evolution and functioning of stars even though we have some idea about the death of a star. The extreme distance from earth and non-availability technologies to reach the stars made it almost impossible for us to make some concrete conclusions about stars. As matter and energy are interchangeable and total energy in the universe is a constant phenomenon, the hydrogen, and helium content of our body should have been once the part of the universe from which the stars, planets, and living things originated. In short, all the objects available in this universe were once part of a single entity which forced Carl Segan to comment that we are star stuff.
