Water in Compressible Flow There are two major categories of fluids; compressible and incompressible fluids. According to Munson Bruce, 2013, incompressible fluids basically do not exhibit any variation in relation to their densities as they flow. On the other hand, he asserts that compressible fluids exhibit variations with regard to their densities as they flow. An example of compressible fluids is gases that are basically relatively compressible as compared to water, which exhibits limited characteristics of compressibility.
There are various factors that affect the compressibility of water as a fluid. To begin with, density is one of the imperative facets that affect the compressibility of water. The Density of water is also subject to various forms taken by water i.e. in the gaseous, liquid or even solid state. In some cases, this is usually referred as the phase of water (Munson, 34). Taking an analysis of a case video, it seems that the inter-molecular space between water molecules contributes in a great sense on the compressibility of water as it flows. When water is in liquid state, the inter-molecular spaces are relatively smaller as compared to when it is in gaseous state, thus making it less compressible as compared to when it is in gaseous state. When water is frozen and takes a solid form, the inter-molecular spaces reduces thus making it less compressible as compared to when it is liquid and gaseous forms (, n.p).

Peak Flow

...Peak Flow Peak flow is a measure of the speed of air coming out of lungs. This way, actually, we assess the diameter and patency of the airways in the lungs. Peak flow readings are influenced by time of the day when it is measured, by some physiological characteristics such as, age, sex, height and by certain pathological conditions, like: asthma, and other pulmonary obstructive diseases (Peak flow 2006). Change in peak flow can also occur during different timings in the day. Although the position of the subject in normal situations at the time of exhaling air in spirometer has got no effect on the readings (Vaswani 2005) (Miller 2005) but other...

...Swine Flu Overview of the Health Problem The health to be addressed is the swine flu popularly known as H1N1 flu. Swine flu is among a group of influenza viruses that cause flu. Flu is described as a contagious respiratory disease that is caused by influenza viruses. Flu is also called seasonal flu. Illness caused by the flu can be mild to severe and at times it can lead to death. The illness is characterized by cough, fever, sore throat, a runny nose, headaches, muscle or body ache, fatigue and others may have diarrhea and vomiting. Flu is contagious meaning that it can pass from one person to another through droplets formed when a person with flu coughs, sneezes or talks. A person acquires flu when the droplets land... The two techniques laser-activated cell sorting and flow cytometry, function in a way that they identify, analyze, and purify a single cell that appears with a specific mark (Macey, 2007 p175). Biological studies have been advanced by flow cytometry this is through enhancing the analysis of cell cycle distribution and DNA content, cellular viability, calcium flux, apoptosis, membrane potential and intracellular PH, expression of intracellular antigens or cell surface and markers... ,...

Cash Flow

...Free cash flow is arrived at after subtracting capital expenditure from operating cash flows. Free cash flows refer to the cash that a firm has left over after including all the expenses incurred over the financial period. Caledonia Company should focus on the project’s free cash flow as opposed to the accounting profits because a positive cash flow means the company has money to continue investing in the project. An accounting profit does not necessary mean a positive cash flow for the company, and since it is a project that spans five years, cash flows generated from the project will be of interest to the project...

Cash Flow

...CASH FLOW The process through which money circulates within a business entity, into and out of a project and or financial products is what defines ‘cash flow’. The statement that therefore records and illustrates this financial movement is what ‘statement of cash flow’ is. An outstanding feature is that the statement is prepared periodically and must cover a specified short time spans. Cash flow The statement of cash flow is a critical document for any company as it shows the company’s rate of return and value (Dreyer, Erasmus, Morrison, & Hamman, 2013). It also helps a company to detect problems with its liquidity because the lack of liquidity may have...
