This is due to various reasons as explained below:Ms. Nina Hernandez, who has been covering for you during the last three times you were away in two months, shall be away during the weekend celebrating her grandson’s first birthday.

She won’t therefore be able to cover for you. There is going to be a conference of electrical engineers in our neighborhood and they have requested to stay at our hotel. Your presence will matter during this time because of our projected profit from the conference. As you already know, we have limited staff and therefore we can’t run well with you and Ms. Hernandez away. You need to be there to avoid short staffing. There is no intention of firing you but just to make it clear that it will be difficult running this weekend without you.

We therefore require your services so much this weekend.Yours,David NewmanFinance officer. (Mary Ellen Guffey, 2012)BibliographyMary Ellen Guffey, D. L. (2012). Essentials of Business Communication. Cengage Learning.
