DEVELOPMENT OF JAPAN What Industry did to Develop Japan to be a strong nation? INTRODUCTION The development of the industries within an economy leadsto the economic growth and progress. Japanese development is a resultant of its industrial policy which extensively shows managing of government business partnership. It is believed by the professionals that the reason behind growth and progress of the Japanese economy is the extensive involvement of government in making the economic decisions. Several business professionals and economists are of the view that when the government intervenes in making the economic decisions of the country then the overall vitality of the decisions enhance. Several politicians and political scientists have a diverging opinion and consider that the progress of Japan under this system is just a mere example of exception (Sakoh, 521-548). In this report a discussion will be presented based on the industrial contributions which led to the development of Japan. The development within the society relies heavily on the understanding of scope and goals set by the economy to be achieved. This requires contribution and raising the standards of learning. Other than this offering employment to all and reducing the elements of obesity are essential measures for improving the overall economy. Adapting to various technological advancements and inventions leads to the progress and development of the overall economy. INDUSTRIAL CONTRIBUTION IN DEVELOPMENT OF JAPAN For the economic development the countries need to form strategies which promote knowledge sharing, technological advancement and growth within the economic realm. The economies must emphasize on the strategies which are based on the selection of long term goals and trends. Other than this the industries must also rely heavily on implementing innovative ideas. Development strategies and global recognition are the forms using which the economy can lay its foundation towards the path of economic growth. Creation, acquisition and use of knowledge are the tools using which the countries can develop and progress. The methods of competition within the economy and globally have changed and hence require continuous improvement of all the aspects which lead to the development of the society (Dahlman, 29-63). RAISING OF LEARNERS The Japanese society promotes education and learning as an essential component of the culture. Developing the human resource and providing the skill which nominate growth and development are essential for the progress of the society. The collective survival mechanism based on co-operation between the human workforce leads to the collective growth (OECD, 137-152). The key factors which aid the development of the education system are designing and developing of a national curriculum standard. Throughout the country the same standard is followed and taught by the teachers which depict flexibility within the system. Within the system the teaching approaches emphasize on the student engagement which creates instructiveness and interaction between the students. Other than this the teachers also promote the idea of school home communication. The study hours are long so that additional schooling can take place. This includes extra-curricular activities and sharing small group tutoring. The quality of teachers which are employed and targeting in carefully utilizing the financial resources are the policies applied for smooth operations of the system. Focusing on equity and understanding different approaches using which the accountability can be tested (OECD, 137-152). Application of all these methods enhances the learning and automatically contributes towards the development and progress of the individuals. Maintaining the social fabric and student enthusiasm are also componential agendas which deliver the goals of the 21st century. The idea is not only delivering education but also accomplishing the character building attributes. LOWERING UNEMPLOYMENT The biggest hurdle for an economy which comes in the path of economic development and progress is unemployment. The measures for reducing unemployment rely on delivering standardized education and economic pace through which industries can be developed. The sharing of beliefs and international benchmarking also reduces growth. Offering incentives and focusing on the curriculum relies meeting the efforts and expectations of the people. Allocating the resources and meeting the high expectations leads to the professional development. Reducing unemployment and creating opportunities of earning for the individuals is highly significant for the development and progress of the entire economy. Political and economic trust of the residents is also the factors which aid development and progress. The monetary and fiscal policy promotes high savings and investment rates which also contribute that the imports are low and exports are high. This shows that less people within the economy are striving for finding a job and are highly satisfied with the existing systems. The decrease in the unemployment rate shows that the people are satisfied as they have lobs. The economic development and progress aids in reducing the unemployment within the society. REDUCING OBESITY The rate of obesity in Japan relies on the food consumption, prices and dietary traditions which are adopted by the people. In Japan the people usually abstain from the consumption of obese food (Senauer and Gemma). The consumption within the region is estimated around 2810 kcal/ person/ day. (Charts Bin) The amount of physical activity and the cost of inactivity within the region determine the overall obesity. The practices such as walking and other curricular activities within the region also aids in understanding the overall weight of the individuals. The cost of automobile and the advancements in the public transportation determines disparity of the region. The use of public transportation and technologically developed railroad system also enables that the people remain physically active. Using the systems and walking is cheaper and convenient both. Long and distant travelling is not only costly but it is also time consuming. Development of industries also dominates the activity engagement of the individuals. With this the development and progress automatically extends and active engagement with work also reduces obesity (Senauer and Gemma). TECHNOLOGY The development and progress of the economy globally has been done by sustaining the competition. Within the industry the development is recognized as meeting with the competition requirements and forming the strategies which promote development within the region. With the advancement and progress the Japanese have succeeded in developing a business model; using which economic development can be catered. A recent analysis shows that Japan has slipped from the survey list and along with this the economy has aided with the information and communication technology development. Japan focus in making new products and reforming the ways using which the business decisions are made. The crucial development scope must be based on the development and progress of the society within the region (Japan Times). Japan is a prominent name in the automobile and electronics technology. The share of Japan in deploying the economy relies on more than 130 billion U.S. dollar (LoonyBG). This is a brief classification of the potential of Japan in the field on technology. Japan is also progressing in the field of chemical, robotics and optics. The development in the field of rail transport through rockets, space and technology are commendable (LoonyBG; Japan Times). Japan has a total of 55 nuclear reactor plants which provide 35% of electricity which is being used in Japan (LoonyBG). The weakness of Japan is that it fails to produce high generation results through the wind energy. Japan is open to all forms of development and advancement in the region. It does not stop with experimenting and applying the new energy forms within the system. In a brief statement technologically Japan can be considered as a leader in technology across the world (LoonyBG; Japan Times). INVENTIONS Forming the innovative inventions and availing the benefits with them is the scope which all the researchers are concerned highly about. In Japan the work of the individuals heavily relies on the development and progress of the individuals. The inventions which are made are for convenience of the users. With this the users aim at modifying the business operating features and reform the traditional practices which have been adopted within the society. Through development the businesses rely towards assuring the progress of the region (Lillrank, 971-989). Japanese environment has always been dominates by creativity in which the progress is acquired through creating a distinguishing factor. Inventions ease the methods of working and along with this the scope and progress of the businesses also excel. New methods and inventions are closely related with application of innovation in the business practice. The application of the policies and the legal aspects within the nation develops the patent subject matter and patenting requirements for protecting the rights of the individuals who have made the innovation. For the annual growth and creating a distinguishing and differentiating factor it is essential that innovations are made (Ding and Chen). CONCLUSION In this report the development of Japan and the factors using which the development has been structured have been discussed. In this study the industrial contributions have been discussed which gave a boost to the economy and led it towards growth and progress. Within the nations scope the goals have been defined and utilization of key aspects which contribute to the development have also been discussed. Analyzing the learning practices within the system and proposing the methods through which the overall unemployment is lowered is also discussed elaborately. Industrial growth scope has also been discussed. The comparison of the obesity rate and reasons for the obesity rate being low has been mentioned. The technological growth and inventions which have been made in Japan and scope of future advancement comment on the importance of an economy progressing economically.
