Affiliation: Psychosexual Theory Psychosexual is said to be a natural sexual drive element that natural human being possess from birth. It is some kind of ogle that some individuals have and to ought to have great sexual energy or libido interest (Clifford 10). According to the theory of the psychiatrist Sigmund Freud (1921), this context develops in a number of stages. This are the oral stage is developed from the date of birth of the infant and develops towards the age of 21 months. There is the second stage, which is the anal stage, this stage starts developing from the age of 18 months of the child to the age of 3 years, here the anus is the main issue and the development mainly involves it. Phallic stage is the third and comes between the ages of three years to the age of six years. Here the child starts to get to understand their bodies and the bodies of other people who may include other children and their parents. At this stage, the children start exploring and get the difference between male and female genital organs. Latent is the fourth stage in the theory context of psychosexual theory which continues from the age of six when the child goes to school all the way to puberty stage, here the libido context is transferred from the child to the parent of the same sex, friends and clubs. The final stage of the theory is the genital stage, this starts at the age of puberty all through to adolescence to the entire life of the individual. Here the individual now develops self-interest in the friends and people of the opposite sex. The focus in this gist is on the pleasure of the genitals. From the stages discussed above, the individual develops high libido interest and energy as a result he is mostly attracted to the company or people of the opposite sex and is so inferior whenever he/she comes into contact or deals with any matter to do with people of the opposite sex (Sigmund 27). This paper discusses the context of psychosexual theory context in the film casino royale by David Craig, similarly known as James bond. The context comes out in the involvement of James with vesper Lynd who acts as a double agent from HM treasury and the Quantum. Her job is to make sure that bond utilizes the fund provided to him by the company well. The lady is a traitor but not she is willing to, but because the Quantum company has taken her lover and the deal they agreed that if she does not cooperate with them well they will kill him. Here the context of psychosexual theory comes out well clear in that vesper is ready to do anything including turning against her company employers will and grant the favor to the Quantum who are the opponent just to rescue her lover in hostage. This shows that the genital energy that is in possession of a woman is so strong and has taken over her control. In the team designed by vesper and bond, vesper to some kind finds the ego of bond as skeptical and not willing to cooperate with him in the poker game in the casino. Afterwards she helps bond in his struggle with albano, she does so by knocking the gun away. In these occasions, Vesper shows his concern to this man which verify her erogenous interest in the male individuals. James bond in return opts to kiss the blood off the hand of Vesper just to show his concern for her. The context also reveals and comes out well when James Bond is struggling to connect the defibrillator, which is external and automatic to his key wire, despite the fact that Vesper is a traitor, she assists him in connecting and relieves him from the stress. She also portrayed the interest on bond by saving him when the Le Chifffres girlfriend poisoned him. On the other hand, James bond also portrayed interest by the act of kissing the blood on her hands which resulted to because of saving him when he was struggling with Steven Obanno. Chiffres work for the Quantum Company and he had disappointed them for misappropriating their funds in the poker games. Bond wins the poker game and as a result, chiffres becomes so annoyed that he kidnaps Vesper. On seeing the case, Bond follows them and as a result, they fall in the Chiffres trap. After a moment of torture, they are both rescued by henchman from Quantum by the name of Mr. White who kills Chiffres the reason being that he misappropriated the funds from his organization. Bond falls madly in love with Vesper when they are both in the hospital recovering from the torture they got from Mr. Chiffres chamber. This love for Vesper makes him to resign from work in order to be with her. This makes him to also go to Venice for vacation with high hopes of starting a quality life with her. Here Vesper takes the advantage of the innocent acts of Bond and takes the money to deliver it to the henchman from the Quantum Company. Bond goes after her but the thugs emerge and take her as hostage where they lock her in the elevator. This gives them space and ample time battle with James Bond. The battle results in several explosions where the building that has flooded sinks. Vesper dies in the elevator despite the bonds action to rescue her. The above analysis on James Bond trying to rescue Vesper from the hands of the Chiffres, of which they don’t have anything attached between them, portrays out the psychosexual theory in the context that James Bond has very much strong interest Vespers despite knowing well that they are at work and that her duty is to keep an eye on him and his doings. He admits to be tortured together with her in the Chiffres residents until the Quantum henchman rescues them. The context goes beyond when James resigns from work and goes foe a vacation in Venice in order to be with her as his lover. This shows how this man values company of the people of the opposite sex, if he can admit to give out and quit work all in the name of being with a woman (Therese 54). It gives a clear visual picture of the genital stage in the Freud’s theory of psychosexual. The other case that verifies the topic is the issue of Bond going to rescue and fighting hard for her in order to rescue her from the hands of the thugs at the end of the film.ie despite Vesper double-crossing him in favor of the quantum company, he goes ahead to salvage her. In addition, in turn, while the flooded house submerges, she kisses him on the hand to show him that he has not done any wrong and it was not his fault. This shows the love and value they had for each other and they valued each other’s company (Temma 102). In James Bonds works, women, sex and violence are the main and the key themes of his acts and the mixtures of this bring the character in which he does best. In his acts, the finest and the most appropriate weapon to use are the women. He uses them to whatever he wants and to enter in the most secluded areas, which he cannot do it by himself. He has of the opinion that sex is the core and the cornerstone of many developments in the world. He suggests that being ruthless to the opponents and treating the women to their level of expectation is the best thing to do in life, and that most of the success male individuals achieve there must be a woman in support (Robert 57). This is described in his acts such as the bond girl, the villain, casino royale and other massive works that describe this feminism. In the video casino Royale, The act of psychosexual theory context, which confuses her to some unrealistic decision the woman Vespers any woman to make any man to go crazy and do awkward things can do action. In front of women, many men are so inferior and that they are used make the hardest and impossible things happen. They are used to seduce men and make them to give up what they value most in life. This is the concept that is portrayed in the Bonds girls, the coldest weapon of all. The genital difference between them and men is the one that makes men want to explore them, this eager to explore makes men loose control and be controlled by women, and as a result, the women get what they desire. This narrates and explains by practical means the concept of the topic psychosexual concept where men are attracted mostly to the people of the opposite sex than of the same sex (Sigmund et al. 76). Psychosexual act is a natural thing and that it may be sometimes uncontrollable and those who are able to control it do it on a very mere situations and very difficult acts. Any person has the mandate to keep him/herself in the position to escape and keep away from the acts of making judgments and arguing because of the sexual energy possessed by them. Being something natural and uncontrollable psychosexual brings the effect that people mostly men to keep away from places or situations that can lead to seduction acts. However, People should not be blamed for being seduced in turn, it is good and moral to advice the victims of the circumstances on the effective ways to keep fit and to control the high libido energy they possess to their benefit. This can mostly be done in the latency and the genital stages of the individual development of psychosexual according to Freud’s theory. The interaction talks and the advice given to these individuals assist them to take precautions and to be able to control themselves (Ben 233). Works cited Allen, Clifford.
