The research employs both secondary and primary sources. The secondary research is conducted using material from books, journals, articles, websites, and governmental publications to prepare the literature review. Primary sources, teachers, and principals are the source of information about the current status of participatory decision-making and expansions. The research uses an interview method to collect data from teachers and school principals from schools in UAE. The research showed that effective communication and a sense of educator empowerment are essential ingredients in school systems at all levels in any country, but these are particularly important factors in higher educational settings.

The research also showed that a participatory decision-making approach can help provide all of a school’s staff with a sense of having a voice in the decisions that affect them and their schools in ways that other decision-making approaches do not. The research also showed that a participatory decision-making approach can help improve academic outcomes in schools at all levels. Schools form the backbone of the educational system; the quality of teaching and management undertook at the school level determines the quality of employees that will enter the workforce.

It is at the school level that the foundation of life-long learning is laid and where future aspirations and achievements are instilled in students. Understanding the importance of schools to our society is not only common sense, but it is also of great importance. The government and society must pay careful attention to the quality of administration at schools. What makes a quality school? Is it the curriculum? Is it the quality of the professional teachers or the principle that makes a strong faculty?

Is it the methodology of teaching used, the inclusion of sports programs, or the spiritual and moral development of students?
