This affiliation is in itself prestigious. Harvard education is exceptional in the way the learning process is approached as it is more of an interactive process. It also offers numerous chances for one to explore real-life situations as one continues to pursue their course. The campus is a historic spectacle for one to just have a chance to view. The students and the teaching staff have come from diverse backgrounds filling the campus with diversity and rich culture (Harvard University).

If there have been no philosophers during the ancient times, probably, we would still be in the dark groping for how we should improve our lives and still be in the dark ages of technology. What we are enjoying this moment are all thanks to the people who have been passionate enough to pursue their love for knowledge and wisdom. My favorite food

...My Favorite Beverage My favorite beverage is Steaz Zero Calorie Sparkling Green Tea (Orange). As the name suggests, it has zero calories (steaz.com, n.d.). The reason I like Steaz Zero Calorie Sparkling Green Tea (Orange) is that it provides me with the benefits of the regular green tea with the added benefit that it has a nice orange flavor. It is quite as refreshing as natural green tea, if not more. I like regular green tea for its freshness but its taste is not something that can be enjoyed. Steaz Zero Calorie Sparkling Green Tea (Orange) provides a complete package. My Favorite Room

...My Favorite Room Introduction: I am a computer programmer. My favorite room is the room in which I work on my computer, as I spend a major portion of the time that I am awake here. The room has a door to enter, and holds my computer on a table, a swivel chair on which I seat myself, a small shelf with computer-programming books and compact discs in disarray, a swivel-chair, a waste-paper bin, an information board, a calendar, and several items of cheer-me ups. My Favorite Room: It is eleven in the morning. I have been working at my computer for almost two hours continuously. A couple of crumpled empty paper coffee cups in the waste-paper bin confirms this passage of time. My eyes are bleary from focusing on the bright computer screen...

My favorite place

... then, the church had always been my favorite place. I felt like I was safe when I was inside it. After that experience when I was just a little girl, I followed what my grandmother told me. Whenever I felt sad, afraid or alone, I just had to go to church to either pray, or just stay there. I felt like it was a refuge. When I felt hungry, there was always the popcorn and empanadas outside. The smell of incense, sweet scent of wood and the solemn air brought by the dim light with tall candles never failed to relax me. I always had soothing thoughts when I got calmer. The paintings all over the walls, ceilings and windows always remind me of my good memories, as they reminded me of that certain memory of my childhood....

My Favorite Hotel

...My Favorite Hotel Since my elementary school, my parents were fond of travelling and taking vacations. My hobby then, and even today, was travelling, especially far from home. The few opportunities I had of travelling from my country remained eked for a long time. When it was time to take a vacation from the country, I looked forward to a wild experience, places far from towns or cities. The fact that these places offered me an opportunity to escape the congested and noisy town life was the main reason why I looked forward to these experiences. However, in one rare experience, I loved The Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington. This is one of the places that I frequent even today for a number of reasons. The serenity of the place is one...

My Papas Waltz by Theodore Roethke

...My Papa’s Waltz Dana Berg Kristin Wanderlingh WRT-201-097WB Spring 2008 This piece of literature that I have chosen to discuss in my paper is the touching poem titled “My Papa’s Waltz” written by a well known poet named Theodore Roethke. Before I could begin my research, when I read this poem, it seemed to me that the speaker in the poem was trying to connect to its reader on a more personal level. From both the mood and tone of the speaker, I sensed that the poet was reminiscing with a feeling of disgust and possibly a bit of shame. To emphasize that this poem was indeed related to his long past childhood, the poem was written in the past tense while referring to what had taken place when he was a child. From the sincerity of the words...
