Babson College is an educational that was founded 100 years ago. The is considered one of the top entrepreneurship s in America. Attending Babson College would be a tremendous opportunity for me. It is said that successful leaders find a way to combine their passions with their careers. For example Steve Jobs had a passion for technology and computers. That passion led him to create Apple Inc. which is considered one of the top computer manufacturers in the world. A passion that I have is doing research. Doing research is an activity that motivates me and gives me great satisfaction. I spend countless hours each week doing research on the internet and at my local library. Becoming a student at Babson College will enable me to develop my research skills further. The faculty of Babson College is composed of tremendous professionals that have lots of experience in the business world. I know that getting a chance to meet the faculty at Babson College will enable me to improve my verbal and written skills as well as my research abilities. It is essential for a professional working in today’s competitive business environment to have good communication skills. An education at Babson College will help me learn how to perform professional research. In the business world doing research is imperative towards the success of a company. I will learn how to identify great sources and databases of business information such as the Plunkett Research database. I intend on taking advantage of all the opportunities presented to me at Babson College. I could take advantage of my time at Babson College to apply for a student job working in one of many research business initiates at the university. Another way that I might be able to obtain experience doing research is doing an internship. The university’s job placement program could help me land that job. My passion for doing research can be put to good use in the classroom setting at Babson College. Through the practice of doing research a person gains a lot of knowledge and insight about current affairs. I can use the knowledge I gain through research to become an active participator in the classroom. In college students learn a lot from the interaction with other students and the professor during class. Sometimes the best ideas are hidden in the minds of the students. Another way that I can put my research skills to good use is during group classroom projects. I am a team player that realizes that teamwork has become a critical success factor in the business world. Babson College is a tremendous university that prepares its students to succeed in the real world. I know that once I am accepted I will be a step closer towards achieving my goal of educating myself for a career. My passion for research will be put to good use at Babson College. It is important for students to realize that education is the most important life experience that a person can go through.
