The project was possible through collective efforts from past experiences and lessons I learnt during my studies as Business Information Technology student. The reasons include: a) The understanding gained through my Salford University studies, that mixing information technology and business results to a powerful combination. b) Increased new technologies that improve lives of human like e-learning and shopping apps that make life simple. c) Contribution of various modules in my learning stint about information technology and project management. d) Availability of online training websites and articles that provided the required information to design the project. e) The project risk assessment indicated that project failure has less impact in terms of investment. The annual cost of such a website is below £20 and around 200 hours. 3.0 Project Analysis This project is dedicated to making emerging new technologies such as Tesco QR Code popular. 3.1 Aim The project aims to describe and present emerging technologies with their advantages and application in English and Arabic. 3.2 Objectives The objectives of this project serve as the roadmap to its accomplishment. The objectives include: a) To register the domain name under Ahmed Alasim in order to gain increased reputation. b) To remain the website master responsible for controlling and handling technical issues. c) To create simple and understandable content that attracts non-technical readers. d) To continuously search for new technologies and update articles. e) To attract and maintain web visitors through friends and social networking f) To provide support to users through WIX facilities g) To present simple and time saving content to users. h) To promptly respond to user comments and create a blog for user. 3.3 Content The content in both languages is composed to be simple and easy such that non-technical users could read and understand without seeking extra interpretation. The current content is purely an innovation of Tesco QR code that elaborates how it is used in improving business operation. The project will present similar new technologies and explain the importance, its evolution and application in the business or life. 3.4 Industry Analysis There are many website that provide information about innovations and inventions, but few concentrate on new technologies that affect business and improve the business activities. The website will integrate with social media website to allow users to post comments after which they are analysed and updates effected appropriately. 4.5 Long Term Plan The long term plan of the project is to earn by interfacing developers and users. The website will also produce an opportunity for innovative developers to blend or mix two new technologies to harness the best feature and sale. Also, it will earn from adverts. Practical Analysis 5.1 Communication The website will use to simple and internationally understood languages. The project utilizes the WIX platform that will offer all the required tools that can steer good communication. The WIX tool includes search engine optimization tool that will make the website easily accessible and searchable. The project has also used the YouTube API to embed iframes with videos, this will allow me to share video contents with great ease and these videos will be easily searchable. The website also used Google analytic API to analyse the number of visitors (Appendix B). I also sent the website link to my friends so that they can help communicate the presence and meaning of this website.
