Personal Statement to the University of CaliforniaI believe that I will be able to impart my acquired technological know-how, particularly in the gaming industry. With my determination to succeed, I aim to study fervently so as to make significant contribution to the American game industry. Currently, the industry is dominated by Japanese products such as the Playstation while American-made products like Xbox lag behind. In this regard, I aspire to make American products gain competitive edge in the global arena and become the game industry leader.

Aside from this, I also have the leadership qualities which I can bring to the University. In my country, I am the vice president of faculty of youth. From my role as a youth leader, I realized how critical it is to be a good follower and support the other leaders of the group. In the field of music, I will be able to offer to the University my talent in playing the violin. I think that I will be able to stand out in the institute of technology with my exceptional sensibility developed from playing the violin for eleven years now.

With this gift, I will be able to join the University’s music club and perform in school programs.
