The paper “Can Trade Policies Prevent Monopolistic Practices when Considering International Business Strategies?” is an outstanding example of a business dissertation. The aim of this study was to determine whether the trade policy of a can nation assists in restricting and preventing monopolistic practices. Accordingly, the situation considered to study the issue was focused on the adoption of international strategies by software businesses. In order to attain the study aim, all the relevant data was collected from secondary sources.

Secondary data in the study were also collected by reviewing previously published articles, journals, books, and other relevant online sources.Based on the findings and discussion of facts, it can accordingly be affirmed that the stability of the economic conditions of a nation is highly dependent on its overall market competitiveness. However, the monopolistic practices lessen the prospect of competitiveness of the industry, as firms are entitled to gain independence in decision-making. Concerning the software industries’ adaptation strategies for monopolistic practices, the study helped to observe that various market players depict a strong inclination to resort practices related to unfair trades and operations, fundamentally through pricing discrimination and restricting the output level from reaching its optimum percentage.

In this regard, the findings revealed that adaptation of monopolistic practice could be significantly prevented by strengthening the norms of the trade policies. The trade policy oversees the practices of international and domestic businesses, leading them to adopt the common guiding policies, and engage in a healthy competitive environment to permit optimal utilization of resources.
