Executive Summary Business intelligence and analytics can be used for solving marketing problem related to distribution at Samsung. The concept plays a significant role in providing real time information with regards to the business processes. This facilitates immediate decision making. Dashboard is an important tool that can be used to provide solutions to the problems that the company is facing. It provides information about what is not going according to the expectation in a business. The availability of current information is beneficial to the organization in ensuring that the necessary changes are made immediately. External and internal data will be required for the dashboard. The internal data will involve conversations, clicks and costs. The external data will involve trends and news. The dashboard that will be used by Samsung to manage its fleet of printers will be relatively effective. It will promote the required efficiency in the company. 2. Why and how Business Intelligence & Analytics (BIA) can contribute to organisational performance in [Organisation] Samsung is one of the most profitable and popular companies in the electronics industry. The strength of the company is its wide customer base as well as profitability. The threat that the company faces is in terms of unreliable distribution as the products of the company is on high demand. Business intelligence and analytics will contribute to improved performance for the company in various ways while addressing the threats being faced. It will eliminate the presumptions during the distribution process. The company will be in a position to know how much to produce and where the products can be distributed. The company will also be in a position to obtain real time updates as well as historical data that can be used for decision making process (Chen, et al, 2012). Accuracy in forecasting and predicting the trends will also be achieved as a result of using the business intelligence and analytics. The company will also be in a position to get answers more quickly with regards to the business questions. This will eliminate the need for reading through volumes of printed reports. Business intelligence and analytics is important in ensuring that business metrics reports are available whenever it is required. This means that it will be possible to access the key business metrics, reports and dashboards via simple devices such as the mobile phones. This is important in ensuring that the personnel involved in handling the data can access it from any location. Business intelligence and analytics will contribute to organizational performance by ensuring that the business is able get insights into the customer behaviour.
