Their privacy, however, has become more critical now that the use of wearable technology has become more common. Wearables tend to be more advanced than portable devices nowadays since it can offer sensory and scanning features such as monitoring of physiological functions which are not commonly seen in mobile and laptop technologies. The most common wearable technologies are physical activity monitors such as smart watches, jawbones, and stylish running shoes. Wearable devices can gather and store information that can be later transferred to other devices. Many at times, the technology does not need to be activated since it works as part of the element. Some of the most remarkable uses of wearable devices result from the combination of different technologies such as artificial intelligence, unique wearable products and extensive data (Sheehy, 2014).Platforms of Artificial Intelligence-Technologies such as Google, Microsoft, and Apple point to a future where it will be possible for consumers to perform complicated tasks merely by talking or just thinking. Unconventional wearable products the main categories here include smart glasses, advanced watches, and body sensing devices. It is only natural that in the coming years there will be massive improvements in theses class of devices regarding optimization, size, value and proficiencies. Big data-if designers can gain access to information about an individual's behavior, location or search history, then a whole new prospect of service opportunities will open up. Healthcare The use of health and fitness applications has made the management of daily activities easier. Application development firms globally have employed their resources to deliver effective health and fitness applications to the customers. Wearable technology in the health sector has brought out numerous radical changes. For Android and Apple devices, applications have sustained their space in the daily lives of consumers (iMOBDEV Technologies Ltd, 2016).As individuals become health-conscious, a variety of requests for this group helps them in one way or another. The applications can maintain the accounts of your day-to-day schedule or can as well inform you about your heart rates. Even applications on smartphones are left behind in this group compared to the apps for wearable devices. Insurance The insurance companies function on the principle of risk.
